On Tuesday, I saw another MCS Checkmate on the NB 55. The driver was also cute.

 

I spotted this little number this week on the 105 westbound toward El Segundo. I didn't get a real good look at the driver, but I'm pretty sure she was a cute blonde. She waved very enthusiastically, and I waved back! Made my morning.

had quite a few spottings this week, last sunday i got a wave from a convertible off PCH in Malibu

then a clean red WORKS on the 110fwy near the dodger stadium exit in rush hr traffic

and tonight another nice S exiting Foothill off the 15south in Rancho Cucamonga

very cool, considering a had a really close call with a dumb driver earlier today

I wonder if anyone in the OC/LA area has seen me recently. I live up north, but drove my SB/SB MCS from NorCal down here in November and December. In December, I actually drove down here for an interview with Irvine Mini Cooper, who are hiring a salesperson (still; I didn't accept the offer).

 

Yesterday, spotted blue/blue clubman, making right turn on Graves onto del mar, in rosemead. U gave me a thumbs up when u saw my cabrio, and i smiled and nodded lol..

 

Saw a Dark Silver/Black Clubman in Staff Parking at my school last night. If it weren't raining like a !@#$% I'd have snapped a pic...

Since getting my MINI, I've spotted a few...

Yesterday, 2/18, AM Commute: MCS, Yellow, I think convertible, with white bonnet stripes. You got on the 91 west before the 710 and then took the 110 to the 105 West. I think you went to the 405 and I lost track of you. Youngish guy with sunglasses, cute like most MINI owners.

 

Spotted the most loved, cutest, cleanest, detailed out MiniCooperS in my sunglasses' reflection! My Cricket is still my baby-she'll be 2 years old on Monday!

 

spotted a blue classic mini on orangethrope and Kramer this morning in OC!

 

Chatted with a nice kid on the 405 north 2/12 in a black R53 was gonna do a pulley install that weekend. FYI there was a lot of traffic.

 

i see that you have HR springs, can you please post a pic of your car in even pavement

i got the same springs and mine seems to sit higher up front than the rear

While MINIs are no longer uncommon in my town, on my way to the gym tonight I saw a dark silver/white Cooper S, blacked out grill, coilovers and chrome wheels. Don't see many "tricked out" MINIs in these here parts. tu:

Didn't get much better look at the car but gave the white guy inside a "what's up".

thanx for the pics, it seems more noticeable on my car, compared to yours tho

spotted a mayfair around lunch today at the crossings in corona, anyone here?

 

I'm here.... just haven't had any luck lately with my mini spottings... Actually I saw a SS clubbie getting on the 125 south from Fletcher Pkwy in La Mesa yesterday and I whizzed by and gave them a peace sign, but couldn't tell if they saw/acknowledged or not...

 

On my commute there's so many MINI's, it's simply not an uncommon sighting at all. I do regularly come across a R56 PW/B S with a rear tow hook driven by an Asian girl and a R56 DS/W driven by an Asian guy who both have the same commute as me pretty much (110 to 10). Sadly I get no acknowledgment, so I don't bother anymore.
