Tonight I was followed for 5-10 miles down the 91E it was dark with a light top and had a burnt out marker light on the passenger side. They took the 57 interchange.

 

I think we saw you last week in Long Beach. Were you there?

 

Whereabout in Long Beach. I am mostly in Cerritos but I do head into LB from time to time.

Last week I went to Roscoes Chicken n' Waffles in Long Beach, Tuesday night.

I saw a Chili Red Cooper last night at about 9:30 cruising Southbound on I-5 at around Euclid in Anaheim. I wasn't in my Mini ... wish I was...

 

Ive seen 3 Mini's today all in the Los Al area. 1 liquid yellow Cooper, dark silver S with painted arches, and a pure silver S

We had driven from OC to Santa Barbara yesterday, and I was just complaining about how 1) I only saw two minis the entire drive and 2) neither of them waved back at me

The other minis I saw yesterday were a CR/W on PCH around Long Beach and another CR/W in Santa Barbara with the graphics on it for that 'make it work' computer company.

 

Most people don't wave anyone. Especially the people who live near me. The guy that lives on the next street always speeds away from the light because he knows my non-s cant keep up with his "S" off the line. He doesnt even try that when Im driving the G35 though

 

I tailed and passed 3 yellow MINIs yesterday (2 coopers and 1 s) on the 405 N and 101 W to Ventura. I was detailing one of Scott's cars at Central Coast Coopers---finished around midnight and was driving back on 101 grubbing on a granola bar and trying to figure out what the highway sign was saying about 3 right lanes closed on 405 at Skirball--when I suddently realized there was another MINI alongside me. Have no idea if they were trying to wave or anything--I got dark tint. By the time I realized it, I was already pulling ahead. Can't miss spotting me with my blue trailer--still got to repaint it to match my car though.

 

This morning alone I saw 3 in a short 10 minute drive. I saw a classic (it was red with a british flag on top), a hyper Blue "S" with black stripes, and a dark silver cooper.

 

Whatever dood. You and Jerry are just jealous coz I spotted smokin hot climbergirl the other day and you guys didnt spot JACK *****.

 

I drive the 215 and the 60 4 times a week (from riverside to Pomona) and I see a few Mini's here and there. I've waved at a few, but so far no one has waved back. Although I got a wave from a yellow MCS in laguna beach about a month ago or so.

 

Nah, I am just jealous cause you were smart enough to go for the pink parts. Wish I did when I had the chance.

 

Nobody spots me anymore

 

Nobody evAr waves to me - I think that they may be scared of me (or Godzilla).

Spotted at 7:45 this morning on the 5 freeway heading north somewhere around 'Redhill'

Dark Silver MCS with Black roof, black bonnet stripes, aftermarket wheels and tinted side windows - driver staring resolutely ahead and picking their nose - beeped horn, waved and then gave up.

Seconds later - ORANGE MCSC - again waved, beeped, waved again - driver utterly oblivious, but thankfully not nose picking...

 

Silver/Black cabrio behind me on the 405S by Howard Hughes this morning.. they changed lanes and I slowed down to wave but they didn't want to play.

There's a Chili Red/White MCS that parks across from me every Friday at work. I kinda wish s/he would just park next to me so that this stupid Camry would just STOP creeping into the unused portion of my parking space. Although I do believe that my MINI is just really polite and invites others to share his space.

 

Tonight on the way home from work, I spotted a dark mini at artesia & the 5, then a black one on orangethorpe near the 57, and one more, a dark MCC making a U on santa ana canyon heading back towards imperial. The first two couldn't tell if any waves it was dark out, but the last one winked!!! That was my first winking, and it was awesome.

 

Hey, my oldest son lives not far from there- off Knott and Thelma (just south of the 91).

 

Two again this morning, both on the 5 freeway, north bound.

CR/W MCS JCW manically driven heavy tints, but I got a wave, plate was something like MINI XTC, followed (barely) up to somewhere around Culver.

Then picked up the Orange MCSC who followed me until I exited on Grand and waved as I exited !

So, two mini's and two waves....

 

I saw a pepper White cooper on the 91 west this morning. It had a huge dent in the side!!! =[

 

That's MINI XTZ. I wasn't driving that fast...but my JCW does have a mind of its own sometimes.
