Hahaha shouldnt you be supporting your work and have a Honda instead of a MINI?

 

It definitely wasn't stock. It was very deep and loud. I live in Walnut, and have a Jet Black/White (JB/W) MCS. Maybe I'll come by some day and look for the MCS at Honda

 

Spotted a New MCS on the 57 south this morning, dark silver with a white top and white stripes, Lowered with wheels and the rear bottom splitter!

I was in the 2 tone primered back/grey VW golf that was next to you for a while!!

Nice MINI.. supper sexy!

 

Saw PW/PW Cooper on Alton turning left onto Jeffery Rd at 12:30pm today.

I think the cooper that you saw on the 57 is mine............ I take the 57 to work everyday and your discription totaly matches my car.

Sad story about a teenage girl killed in a Jeep accident. She went into the Los Cerritos Channel after taking the Studebaker offramp too fast on slick road.

When the reporter began his live broadcast, a Pepper White pulls up to place flowers at the site.

 

Spotted a guy driving an Electric Blue MCS with Black Stripes on the northbound 405 yesterday around 5:15pm near Long Beach/Wilmington.

I was in my truck so no wave. If that was you nice car.

 

Well I DO have a Prelude....but LUV my MINI!! The boy (if his grades are good) will get the Honda.

 

Well I work in DB....usually until 7pm Tue-Sat....always down to meet fellow MINIers!!!

 

Spotted:

BRG w/ white roof MC on southbound 405 tonight near Wilmington, followed you to Cherry where I exited.

License plate: OHBEHAV, had Minimaniacs So Cal stickers on the back window.

I was driving the mini in my sig.

Coincidentally she sent me a text message about spotting a Royal Grey on the 405 and getting the wave! And now you post about it. This is cool! I'll have to let her know about it.

I'm headed to Camarillo this weekend, with some stop off at bob smith and possibly steves on saturday If you see a space blue mini with a silver roof and a plastic licence plate that says synthia, wave it's me

 

I see so many MINIs a day, yesterday I saw 3 heading North on the 133 in the morning, Black MCS, Cool Blue Conv, and i forgot the other one.

Today a BRG behind me from Aliso Creek all the way to the end of hte 133 after work around 530. tried waving but nothing...

on the 133 this morning, I was goign the opposite direction, a PS/B MCS waved! I was too late to wave back, sorry! Some stupid person I wasnt expecting was bothering me on the phone... I actually waved almost after you passed me hahaha. I was the CR/B you waved to... are you on here?

 

Yay candiecat - don't give up on those waves! I know there are a few other MINI drivers in my area that finally have started waving back - it took some training! And over the last couple of days, I actually went by 3 diffferent MINIs that waved first!

Saw what seemed like loads of MINIs when I was in Laguna Beach on Saturday, anybody here?

CR/B?MCS coming onto N harbor drive this evening over by Fleet ASW here in san diego....looks like u were trying to beat the light and almost got ur car airborne lol.....hell i had my windows up and the stereo on and i still heard the scrape ouch lol

 

Saw a multitude of MINIs yesterday (1/28). An SCMM gathering maybe?

I honked hello when you were all parked near Lake Henshaw and I made my way to East Grade Road. Then later I tried to wave to all of you as you came up Banner Grade and I went down (I was stuck behind a Jetta at the time).

Lots of modded MINIs with aero kits, etc. I never see any modded MINIs on the road during my commute, though. You must all hide out until the weekends.

You chose a beautiful day to come out and play! I stopped on my way back down East Grade to get this shot.

 

That was the West Coast MINIs - we all saw you... We all carry radios and it was relayed down the line that you were going down as we were going up..... You should join us some time.... It was a fantastic ride - and yes, a beautiful day. LOTS of great MINI peeps...

Spotted this afternoon - around 4:15 - on the 5 going south - Black MCSC - we pulled up along side - gave a big wave and got a thumbs up back. We got off in Del Mar and you continued south. You here?

Also spotted a few minutes later - a Hyper Blue MCSC coming out of the Plaza parking garage on the 101... Anybody here?

On the EB 210, leaving SCMM's picnic @ Santa Anita, a Blk MCS with Borla exhaust and an Alta sicker in the qtr window. Got a wave from the passenger. Anyone here??

 

Spotted a couple black MCs on 805 north this morning. Followed "MINISAN" for a while, and we both passed by "3M INIM." No waves.

And parked on Madison near Cleveland was parked a new CR/W with a Union Jack roof and Crevier plates.

 

Yeah, the organized drive doesn't excite me. Not sure exactly why, but I just like heading up there when I feel like it and doing my thing. Worked out to about 230 miles on Saturday, hitting the usual highlights (Palomar, Banner) plus a trip out to Yaqui Pass Road (spectacular scenery up through the pass, I'd never gone out that far before) to Borrego Springs.

Traffic was light, and generally polite when it came to moving over. I had some fun following a USPS Ford Windstar down Palomar - he was moving pretty fast. I could have gotten through slower corners much quicker without him in front of me, but his pace wasn't objectionable at all! That's the postal route I would want.
