Another TV news siting: Hollywood police officer being interviewed by Channel 7 today. A MINI - IB/Union Jack cruising down Hollywood blvd next to his cruiser for about two blocks finally passing the police car and moving out of the shot. Nice MINI! Your screen test was great!

 

I had a MINIful morning: saw 1 parked (black or BRG) on Jackson between Navajo and Lake Murray Blvd, saw 2 on Alvarado Road near DZ Akins (blue with blonde curley-haired lady driving, black or BRG with man driving). Neither waved. I really need my license plates ASAP! I also see a CR/W Cooper that parks behind 6475 Alvarado Road all the time. A lady drives it, but I haven't been in my MINI when I've seen her yet, so I don't know if she is a waver.

 

DZ Akins is a good restaurant. My girlfriend used to live just a few blocks away on Idlewild before she moved up to San Jose.

10/29/05 2:00 pm another Liquid Yellow / Black MCS we both turned into The 76 Gas station on Atlantic in Alhambra I waived at you when you were waiting in line starring at my MINI.

Ah yes... if you time my time line I drove all over the place these two days... LA to SD and back to LA.

 

ah yes...the MINIs are growing in number....saw a beautiful Copper MCCS w/black bonnet stripes heading up Van Buren Blvd in Woodcrest area of Riverside, the wife gave the thumbs up and got a wave back....although we were in her "Eddie" (Black n gold Expedition)!! Had too many kids to take BB out for a drive (yeah I know, lose the kids and take the Cooper!!)

 

DS/W MCS w. Colorado plates southbound on I-5 around Pryamid Lake. I flashed my PIAAs and driver returned acknowledgement with flash of brake lights.

2 wavers this weekend!

Black cabrio on Washington and Goldfinch in Mission Hills (San Diego) on Saturday, and a DS/B (can you believe it?!) at the bottom of Washington by the train tracks yesterday. My DS/B theory still stands, though, because the DS/B driver was a female - it's only the DS/B males who are too cool to wave.

The only non-waver of the weekend was an all-PW MCS on Goldfinch on Saturday afternoon. I gave a thumbs-up, and he just stared at me. Whatever.

 

10 East 4:45p.m. You were in the #1 lane I saw you look at my car when I passed by in the #2 lane but then when you passed me I waived but you didnt look over at me nor waive... It was trafficy...

 

I saw a PW/PW when I was accidentally going the wrong way (oops) in a one-way parking garage at SDSU near Gateway. The driver (girl with long dark hair) did not wave or look amused as I sheepishly grinned at her.

*The lanes in the garage are PLENTY wide, so don't give me too much flack for going the wrong way.

 

Could have been me about two years ago.

I keep seeing a PW/B southbound on Norwalk Blvd. passing through Cerritos in the afternoons, like around 5:30 - 5:45. Anyone here?

 

I keep seeing a Liquid Yellow Black MCS driving on the 10 East to the 710 interchange and then ALL the way down to Long Beach... are you here? This is uaually around 6:10 am when I catch you on the 10 east

 

Just saw DS MCS in Irvine at about 8:30pm tonight. (Alton & Sand Canyon) Back window had a sticker that read "Edge Shadow" or something like that.
I was the Asian girl looking at you funny in a non-mini. I think we have met at the Costco getting gas a couple of months ago!!!

This afternoon a brand new silver S with dealer plates from Irvine joined what was left of the West Coast MINIs convoy headed south on the 15 near Escondido. The driver was male, and (much to our delight) was a waver and gave thumbs up.

I played hide-and-seek with a BRG/white MCS from Kansas on I-5 south around Hwy 52 and Pacific Beach about 4 p.m. today.

She never acknowledged me, so I'm not sure if she knew we were playing, but she won when she ducked out of the fastlane just before I came to a standstill. Never saw her again.

She had the full aero kit, plus bonnet stripes and a checker roof - even a BRG sweater to match - so I figured she must be a MINIac! She was cute, too, but never looked over to see my "Hey, Sexy" sign.

 

Yesterday I saw a MC/W LY on Longbow off of Muholland with the plate 1 big egg.

I was the MCC LY behind you the entire way up. You made a left on Muholland I made a right.
