Greetings-- to Juan, Klint, Donna & Mike, troutbum/skatemom and anyone else I've missed

 

Spotted LY/W MC with 007 numbers on the doors at the Denny's Parking lot on Culver Dr. at about 7pm yesterday.

 

Anyone on here that is around Ojai, CA. It's where I am and I have seen PS/PS MCS, All Black MCS, CR/W MCS, BRG/W MCS, CR/B MCS, DS/W MCS....almost no one waves.

 

Today I saw three PS/B, three CR/B, W, a superb CR convie, a EB/B, a PW/B with great wheels, 2 IB/W and all sorts of others. They were in Stanton filled with the best group of people ever! We had some detailing fun! Thanks everone!

 

Oh yeah, I saw a group of Brits Beezzzz (should I say? ) zee zeeing on the 405 North with all wide open eyes of nearby motorists, some almost drop their jaws to see these "beezzzz". I bet they probably thought that a movie is being filmed (part II) . Oh wait, I was 1 of the beezzz ... I met my twin too!

A few weeks ago I was heading up to Big bear on the 91 and had the lovliest wave from another mini driver, it was really quick because they raced up to catch me, then headed off the ramp, then I was at Willow springs this last weekend for track day with SCMM and this guy was snickering to his friends as he was pointing to my car, so I had to ask what's all the commotion and it was the guys that were waving to me the week before on the 91 and they remembered the car and we introduced ourselves, Wes and his grandson Nick who was visiting from Minnesota, they were so nice and fun. The weekend was WICKED fun

Saw a 'new' color for me...a Purple Haze MCC in the Riverside Lowe's parking lot....cool color (I never saw the driver...and I was in the wife's Expedition....hard to carry screen doors in BB!! )

 

Was driving home tonight thinking about something---kinda day dreaming at night--when all of a sudden another MC came up fast alongside me. Didn't realize it was a MINI till you got ahead of me. License plate--FRAANK. Couldn't tell the color--maybe BRG? Anyhow, nice driving behind you! I waved as I passed you--not sure if you could see since it was dark, but always nice to see fast Coopers.

 

Damn, I wish I realised that sooner, I would have come and said Hello.

I would be one of the guys on the track on Saturday, then I saw you again outside Don Cuco's while I was talking to Geezer.

 

Saw a Purple Haze Cabrio/Black top (down:smile: ) yesterday afternoon about 3:15 driving into the Gas Lamp downtown San Diego...

That would have been really nice What does your mini look like? I hope your not the guy I played a joke on? A guy came into the bar and asked what level I was riding and I told him I was advanced and that I had passed him twice in a row on the track today. He didn't look to happy about it and departed before I could tell him it was my first time on the track. :( Do you have any pics from the track? We have all been posting them on the Scmm website JJ

 

I dont have any pics of the car at the race, but I posted one on SCMM of my new runflat slicks.

There are some pictures of my car in the photos others have posted, but it was mainly in the background. It's BRG, Cooper S. Camel GB.

 

I was visiting LB last week and was happy to see three MINIs in the parking lot at Boeing.

 

Does it have white bonnet stripes and the numbers 41???

saw a black/black MCS for sale on Bouquet Canyon in Santa Clarita..... is that anybody from here?

 

I was cruisin around in Orange/Irvine at Jamboree and Chapman and did a little spiritied driving with a Blue/white top MCS. He was a little bit more "spirited" than I was and I was just wondering what he is workin with. LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE OUT THERE. Good times.

 

Hm... when was this? I drive Chapman to and from work everyday, between the 241 and the 57. Were you the DS on the 241 I rallied with not too long ago?

 

IB/W MC with no plates on westbound 210 somewhere before the 2 offramp. You were exiting freeway, I was in fast lane. Tried to wave and honk.

Black MCSc southbound on 405 between Seal Beach Blvd and Brookhurst. You have USC plate frame, I was in IB/B MC in the diamond lane. Honked. I think you noticed.
