Saw a lady in a brand new Blk/Blk MC on NB I-5 last friday from Santa Ana to Disneyland. I let her merge in from an HOV lane but not the car right behind her trying to follow (sorry sir!) . I waved at her but got no sign of response ... In the mid of disappoinment there was something encouraged me to wave again & again on the next following days. I saw a little girl in the baby car seat raising her head and waved her little hand at me ... Oh yes she did and that made me smile along the whole stretch of crowded freeway on a friday afternoon. Kudo to the little girl!

 

Tonight - 6:00 pm - leaving the Oceanside train station, spotted an EB/W - didn't see the driver as it was darkish - I rolled down my window and waved and got a honk back - Yippee!! Anybody here????

Spotted a blue/W S with driving lights and a roof rack heading into the Encinitas Community center at Oak Crest this evening close to 7.

 

saw a new blk mini with white stripes today lomita and normandie
with 2 cute girls the driver waved

then about 20 mins later saw a red mini with white roof on PCH at 110 freeway
looked over and the lady driving waved at me too

kinda cool

 

Spotted a black Cooper w/ checkered flag roof, merging from the 71S to the 91W.

Thennn on the 241N, a BRG/B w/ black stripes and gunmetal/polishedlip wheels cruisin' up the toll road.

 

spoted a MINI on a one of those huge vehicle cargo transporters. It has the british flag huge on the sides and top. Heading up the 15 north.. wonder who sold their MINI

 

A cooper red with white roof on Melrose in Vista on my way into the office - I gave them a flash...nothing in return though.

 

saw a silver MC with wheel wells painted on 57N in anaheim at 7:45 AM. looked cool, but not my preference. female driver! i was the other female driver in a BRG MC.

 

saw a dark colored mini with a white top (it was dark). i waved and whoever waved back. This was on Goldenwest in Westminster at around 7:50pm. I forgot to give that person a personal light show!

 

Saw a PS/PS Cooper on the 163N yesterday. Caught up, nice car! Had an SCMM sticker on the driver's side. Had his window down and we exchange spirited waves.

Saw a couple of others, a PW/B and an EB/W, but the traffic was so bad where I met 'em no waves or acknowledgement. Just careful driving in a crowd going 70.

 

saw a nice CR/B JCW with german license plate on the rear and a dent on the front right light housing in laguna beach yesterday. that was the one that caught my eye, but also saw

and a few more that i can't quite recall now. all on PCH in and around laguna/corona del mar, except for the PW/B that was in irvine.

I have been waving like a fool at the MINIs lately....only to realize I'm in a POS rental...so if you see some ol' fart waving at you in a red Neon, it's just me so you can wave back (I might be on my Buell and give the thumbs up too, so look for me on the IE freeways)

 

Yesterday, an all Pepper White MCS in the Vons parking lot off Woodruff.
I was the Indi Blue MC that parked in front of you and left an SCMM card.

 

I Motored down, or should I say "Flew down" to San Diego (130 miles) yesterday morning for my best friends wedding. On my way down, I past 3 Coopers, and on my way up, were 4 more, and got 1 wave. Interesting that I didn't even see one MCS on either leg of my trip.

Was a fun drive nevertheless. MINI sat in a parking lot covered all day, then 10 minutes after uncovering him to drive home, it started raining. LOL

i saw sixteen minis yesterday, sixteen! today i saw two mini siblings very similar mine (DS/B + stripes). one DS/B no racing stripes in the vons parking lot in laguna beach and a DS/W on cliff drive also in laguna.

 

Drive up and down the 15 between San Berdu and Barstow on Thursday or Friday. You might see a tad bit more MINIs.

 

Red/White JCW Southbound on the 110 near San Pedro last night. I was carpooling at in my co-workers car so unfortunately I didn't get to give a fellow JCWer a wave.

License plate something like: DU999

 

Spotted IB/W MCS with two white strips left and right. Has aftermarket wheels exchaust and wheels. License plate was RECOOP. I went behind him and he waved and I waved but flashed him my high beams just to make sure he knows I said hello.

It was around 9:25am Friday on the 15N before the 60. We were following each other until I had to go on the 10 towards LA.

That made my day today.

Oh, I was the JB/W MC with a single stripe in the middle.

 

Saw a hb/hb on palos verdes drive north yesterday. Flashed him w/ my beams and he flashed back. Last week I saw a nice lady w/ a CR/W waving at me on crenshaw blvd, waved back but Im not sure if she saw me waving.

 

I'm about 0'fer my last 5 waves, so I'm about ready to give it up. They look at me like I'm crazy..

 

I've had two wave back out of 18-20 in the last month. I don't care if they think I am crazy. The way these non-waving people respond, I am starting to suspect they think I am swatting a fly! I'm gonna keep trying for now.
