Oh, they have bumped my car for delivery today (16th) - maybe I can pick it up on Monday

 

The AIDA docked in Brunswick Ga on the 15th and departed on the 16th.

Still showing arrival in California on the 27th after a quick stop in Panama...

ASK Mini says mine is also at the port awaiting a ship. However it actually was on the Isolde and was dropped off Feb. 9th. Should be picking it up next week from the dealer. I think ASK Mini has some serious problems.

 

Can I assume nobody from Week 4 has taken delivery yet? I would like to know when some of you, especially on the East coast, take delivery. Yes, I'm impatient.

Tuesday for me... Arrived at the dealer on Saturday

 

Emailed my MA today to check if it's still a go for next weekend. He said that their system is down today (which may explain why ASK-MINI is so messed up), but he would get back to me tomorrow. He said he's still pretty sure that I'll be able to pick up next weekend. *fingers crossed*

 

Next weekend would be great for me...but I'm in Chicago.

 

I will pick mine up Friday night or Saturday morning (my preference, actually) in Charlotte.

 

Emailed the dealership today as I still haven't heard anything, we'll see what happens.

Good news everyone! I've got a name for my mini!

I've been on a Nyquil bender for the last couple of days, gotta love that cold season, and as such was subject to bouts of lucidity. I was watching tv and talking on the phone with my dad who was asking about the mini. Instead of saying that the mini should be here this weekend or the next I substituted Ferris for mini. Ferris Bueller's Day Off was playing in the background and it is one of my all time favorite movies so after thinking about it for a few minutes the name stuck.

Yay! One step closer to it being mine!

 

Talked to my MA today and she told me lots of people were looking at my car today and one person wanted to buy it - rightly so she told them I would "kill her" if she sold it!

Hopefully picking it up tomorrow! Aero Kit, Driving lights are all installed already

As far as we know, our cars are waiting to go to VDC from port of charleston. Our MA is scheduling pickup for Friday evening....

When did your MA tell you this? Today? I still haven't gotten a confirmed pickup date from mine. The only thing I've gotten so far is that the weekend still looks good, although he doesn't have any specifics as to where my car is.

 

Strangely I found the owners lounge to be VERY up to date to where my car was at this stage

 

I have no specifics, but she said today it was at the port in charleston, waiting to go to VDC, but seemed pretty confident it was going to get to dealer by Thursday evening. I sure hope so, but still wary if it's really going to get there in time.

 

According to the WW site .. the Aida has left port in Panama on it's way to California..

Finally! I just got off the phone with the dealership and my mini is here!!

He said I could pick it up tomorrow but with work and class and life, yadda, yadda I can't. I'm gonna pick it up on Saturday instead.

On a side note. Any new owners gonna do the Dragon this year? I think it'd be a great way to meet up with a bunch of other owners and test out this new cars capabilities on some twisties. If I can get the time off, I think I'm gonna go.
