VALENTINE MINIs ARRIVE IN AMERICA!!
Today is the day!
The Emden is scheduled to dock in Charleston TODAY. Our MINIs become American Citizens on Valentine's Day!! I'm sure everyone already has this link, but, in case you don't, you can see the Vessel Schedule for SC Ports Authority here: http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp. I am waiting to see the Emden move to the top of the page under the heading Currently Docked...

P.S. My MA just called to schedule delivery on Saturday, Feb 23. Naturally, I'm scheduled to teach classes all day that day!
The good news, though, is that they're going to try and get it ready on Friday, Feb 22! We're scheduled for 5pm. How am I going to concentrate through two classes on Saturday with a newborn MINI sitting outside waiting for me!

Hoping for a delivery for next Saturday too. It's the only day we can really pick up the cars since dealer is 150 miles (each way) away. Haven't heard anything from MA though.

Just a guess, but about 100 miles east of Cape Cod. That estimate is based on it's last reported position and speed yesterday. Another 350 or so miles to go.

! I never thought of that !) who knits. Who knew? On the other hand, my students have offered to pitch in and knit me a MINI cozy. If you know me, fear just struck your heart, 'cause you know I CAN do it and probably will... I am, after all, an Extreme Knitter. Guess what the syllabus for my Master Design class has on it now?

Hmmn, I'm getting so much conflicting information, its annoying. My MA Says the car is due in the weekend and should be prepped and ready in 2 or 3 days.
Spoke to someone else tonight and they said it only reached the port on the 12th (WW's site said the 8th) and that my aero kit and lights are being installed at the dealer?! eh? Not what I requested at all.... And they said it will be at least another week if not 2 until it's ready....

Does any one have any information on the Liberty?
It was supposed to be in NY yesterday, now the WW site says today, the 15th, and there are 2 lines reading arriving and departing on Jan 15th....
