Finally picked my MINI up last night! Only have one pic in my gallery so far (not great - taken with my phone), but the it was well worth the wait. On the way home last night, I discovered that it's very easy to be going 90MPH and not even notice. Seems like you're going 20 and then you look down and your speedo is past the halfway point!

 

All right! I think that make all of us PW4 have gotten their cars. 09DSMCS, I keep the MPH set on the Tach because I too have found that depending on the center speedo can get you in trouble.

 

Yeah. I've had to do just that! Is there any way to keep the digital mph on the tach and then still be able to flip through the other menus? I like to see my gas mileage, etc, but also like to have the digital speedo.

 

Mine's back at dealer. Took it in on Friday to get an annoying rattle and the roof graphic removed and re-done, and they botched the graphic AGAIN. So my MA decided they would keep it and re-do it again. So I'm currently motoring in a very large and not-so-nimble BMW 328i. Let's hope third time is a charm?

 

That stinks! Sorry to hear that you are having so much trouble with your new MINI. Is there another MINI dealer close to you that could do it without messing it up? Maybe they can order 3 or 4 of them so if they mess it up, they will have a few spares on-hand.

I know what you mean when you say that the BMW is 'not-so-nimble'. I got in my pickup after driving the MINI for 2 days and it felt like I was in a tank that would tip over if I went even the slightest bit fast around a turn!

 

Mine is finally at home and the roof graphic was perfect on the 3rd try by the dealer and they fixed the annoying rattle too. Picked it up from dealer on Friday. Got it tinted already on Saturday ...

Any week 4er's going to Minis on the Dragon this year? Kind of a spur of the moment decision, but we've booked a room and already registered, so we are there! Getting there early on Friday morning and leaving on Sunday.
