Who has the BMS tune?

I have been doing some research and the Burger Motorsports Tune seems pretty appealing. Who has it and what do you think? I see lots of R56s owners but what about the R60's?

I've had a JB+ for about a month. Easy peasy installation and lots more fun for $300.

There are a number of us in this thread: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ms-tune-s.html

Ive had mine 3 or 4 months. Cars feels like it should have from the factory. No negatives except its hard to keep my foot out of it.

Just put mine on this week, only about 200 miles on it so far. The heavy ALL4 now pulls much stronger, especially in the midrange.

I know it is supposed to take around 300 miles for the car to "learn", but already there are some nice gains. I'll report back after 300-ish.

Glad I stumbled on this here -- I never go to the Gen 2 forums any more, so I knew nothing about this mod, and otherwise most likely never would have.

Just ordered one for my Paceman All4. After coming from my RMW-tuned MCS, the drop in power combined with added weight and AWD makes for a more than noticeable change. It looks like the JB+ should help make up for a good bit of that.

For those of you with the tuner do you notice much of an improvement in sport mode vs sport mode without it?

The SB only changes the mapping of the throttle and steering response AFAIK. The JB+ tune effect is independent of the SB.

I have really enjoyed the extra boost from the JB+ on my All4. I have about 2,000 miles on it so far with no problems.

Just do it. If you have access to E85 then you MUST do it :D. Caveat: N18 engines only.

Frankly I am having trouble going thru the 51 pager thread I've gotten to page 9 so far!

This is my daily driver about 800-1000 miles a week. Jcw exhaust , Dos Cai and 93 octane only should I get this? Do I need the can tool? I plan on just plugging it in and go won't make adjustment or care to see what boost I am at. 2012 fwd S countryman is what I have thanks and sorry if all of this is answered in the 51 page thread!

You have a N18 engine since you are S model 2011+.

E85 is 85% ethanol gas. 'Normal' gas is 10% ethanol. Your car isn't made for 100% E85 BUT you can mix up to 30% E85 with normal (E10) gas, turn up the JB+ setting and make more power! :D. HOWEVER, you must turn the JB+ back to default setting before you stop putting E85 mixture in there or your engine will break.

Get the JB+, leave it at default setting. The CAN tool is optional and not needed in your case.

I'm in a similar position -- my 2013 Paceman All4 is my daily driver, although I'm more like 1000 miles a month, not a week. I got the JB+ by itself without the can tool, 93 octane gas regularly, no CAI but I do have a K&N filter and a Megan muffler. Just plugged it in, no adjustment. It's definitely upped the fun factor. If you're fwd, get ready to hang on -- you're likely going to see some good old fashioned torque steer and a good bit more wheel spin when you hammer it.

Just do it. For the money you can't go wrong.

I can confirm some torque steer and definitely more wheelspin when you floor it and I have the JB+ at default.

You won't regret it! I'd recommend changing your plugs at about 70k miles. Going a step colder would be nice too with NGK's 5992. Enjoy the JB+!
