Drivetrain Who has the BMS tune?

Where's it say to disconnect the battery. I must have missed it. There is no current running thru the mass air flow sensor if the vehicle is not on or in acc position.

no but i might now that i think about it
I've had my BMS installed now for 10k. My ALL4S runs great, never an issue. I run 93 octane brand name fuel and the selector has not been touched. I have noticed for the last 1500 miles that my mileage is down a bit. I live in Pa so we are on winter gas mixture. I hit 30k this week so I changed my plugs today. The originals showed a rich mixture. I installed a set of factory Beru's and ran Seafoam cleaner thru the intake tube so it would go thru the Turbo and the intake valves to clean things up.
She idles a bit smoother now. As a side note I don't think There are any true CAI's for the Countryman that take in fresh outside cold air better than the stock system with a high flow filter. Its 20 degrees outside and that's enough for me for the day.

I ran mine for a few thousand miles on the stock setting with no issues but dialed it down to 11 after awhile to play it safe. We only get 91 here in NM. I don't know if the 10% ethanol in the winter is better or worse for detonation.
Ok, cool. I'll probably do the same just to be safe. Thanks for the tip!
That's interesting that you leaned out.
I've run 40/60 e85/91 at 80% and my afr was down in the 10.5:1. With reg gas (91) at 60% my afr was at 12.8-13:1 ....not saying 60% with (91) safe to do.
What year is your car?
What RPM did it happen?
which intake do you have installed?

Didn't explain myself well.
Yes 10.5:1 is rich, Iv'e been told, you want to be around 12.5:1 with these engines...
Every time Iv'e used E85 mixture, the car runs richer under load. With regular gas (91) I'm around 12.8:1.

it's a 2012 and i didn't see when the light popped on, no custom intake but using an afe dry filter. contacting burger they said this was common for the n18 to pop lean codes and i should buy the can tool to clear them... i don't think so. i'll have my dealer clear the code next time i'm up there, dial down the JB+ a bit and try it again...
I'm sure you have a Driod or and Apple phone. Purchase a bluetooth OBD tool from Amazon for $12 and download an app for your phone ($5-$10). Torque Pro for Driod and DashCommand for Iphone and monitor your car. You can also clear the CEL every time it pops up.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
after you review the code in the "fault log manager" click on phone "menu" button and it's the first option "Clear faults on ECU"
thanks again.
