odd question, but I am lost

I have a R57 and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to open the trunk when the key is in the ignition. Is there something on the boot that lets me open it? Is there a setting inside?

Someone help please

thanks

Unlock both doors, the hatch opens when both doors are open. Also, the gas door opens with the driver side door if you ever need to know that

FYI - you can program your fob to unlock everything with one push. Mine does that, my wifes needs 2 pushes.

In the 2009 owner's manual, you'll find instructions on pgs. 19,20 under the topic "Opening and Closing: from outside"

Why not just flick the lock/unlock toggle switch in the center console?

On my 2009 Convertible, when both doors are unlocked, I have to press and hold the switch on the boot unless it releases some times. So some times, it's just a quick press, other times it's a press and hold. It's intermittent, but I live with it.

If Key in ignition, boot opens after door locks toggled from center

This used to frustrate me as well. The soft button in the boot handle will work in this situation (key in ignition, regardless of motor running or not), the center console door lock has to be used to unlock all the doors. To avoid the "double tap", I have set the unlock in the remote settings to open all doors, not just the driver door. So you'll end up with doors and boot unlocked with a single press from the remote or a single unlock from the center console. I hope that's right... try it out and let us know.
