The hazard triangle isn't standard in the U.S., either. The Cooper pack included a folding metal wheel chock, along with the jack, lug wrench and screwdriver.
yeah I saw that in the manual, and was hoping for mine, also noticed that the tool kit wasn't behind the right panel in the boot. Even though I am instructed to use the screwdriver from that kit to pop the light panel out to manually crank the sunroof if necessary.

There's also spaces for a small wrench (14mm?) and a pull tool for the center caps on some wheels. Both those came with the screwdriver. The tray also had a spot for the wrench needed to drop the MC spare. I ended up ordering that as well by mistake. With the lug wrench, jack, and spare wrench, I also ordered the wheel chock, four items total. I knew the triangle wasn't standard, but hope to order it later on to complete the tray.
There must be a law in Britain that requires drivers to have those.
Used to be that most European countries would require you to carry the triangle to place behind your car if you had to pull off onto the shoulder of a road. It could be all European countries now, I'm just not up to the latest rules, particularly since everything has been "Euroed."
The manual also mentions a first aid kit, which was a particular requirement of Germany, although it may have been Euroed, as well.
Our Euro delivery BMW came with the first aid kit. Really interesting collection of bandages--not little bandaids. Lots of pressure bandages, etc. You'd have to be pretty hurt for some of them.
Ours also came with the triangle.
Problem was we had to remove those items and everything else including floor mats when we turned the car over for U.S. delivery--only the tool kit could remain in the car during shipment. Made for some crowded luggage!
not to be brash cooper55 but read around alittle bit on the forums and you'll see its a pretty well posted fact. Welcome to NAM by the way. do you have pics yet?
That the R56 has a 'hidden' compartment in the passenger side dash? Push on the right side dash and it will slowly open--nice.

If you order the OEM 6 disk CD Changer you don't have the hidden compartment as that is where the changer is located. Well, you have it, but it hides the changer instead of leaving the open space .

You should have brought the mats aboard as carry-on luggage and then spread them out underneath your feet. That would have been a riot. And other passengers may have asked for their own floor mats.
regarding the one touch up...I read a post that said it was something that could be done at the dealer...of course i can't find it anywhere. I haven't asked my dealership since my car is still on the boat on it's way over. I was wondering if anyone had it done.
