Can't wait to get everything back into the MINI. Seems like everyone with an E45HP has come out of the woodworks all of a sudden. lol.

Couldn't be more perfect timing either, looks like I'll be returning to the workforce...fingers crossed!!!

Yeah, it'll be ready today. Oil cooler will be here this morning/afternoon so going to wrap up the work today. Need to flush the oil 3 times, flush cooland, leakdown tests. Walnut blast the valves again, curious to see how they've been since my 40k valve cleaning and install the hyperco springs to my ohlins. Should be a very busy afternoon/evening.

I know! The car business has some ridiculous hours! Once I get my set schedule then I can make some arrangements.

I've driven everything from a 1 to a 7 series lol

Definitely loving the 435i

And the N20's in the #28i variants is crazy good. The F56 is lucky to start with such a strong motor.

Thanks! There are some pretty awesome builds out there, so if there were a takeaway from all this, is that they helped me get to where I'm at.

Anyways, LA meet. I'm sure I can gather a bunch of people. Not a problem for a weekend, just has to come out better than the last one I went to. what a weird "meet". lol

Car business!? Man....I had ridiculous hours and I just got off a call with a colleague and I may have another job soon and relocating for a few months. lol

Haven't sat in the 435i yet, but it's not hard to like the N55 in there. The old N54 was fun when I had it. the 3 and the 4 are just too big for me sadly. If I got back into a BMW, it'd be a 2, probably the grand coupe version

Thanks for the invite! Too early and don't wanna drive that far in the morning though. If it were like 10 or 11, then that's different

Well, Ohlins are Ohlins, it only comes in 1 spring rate from factory, unless I'm completely wrong.

You're probably wanting to know what I went with on the Hyperco springs though....

8kg fronts/6kg rears. If I don't like the ride on them I'll sell them and reorder new set.

I just ordered TSW KW Variant 2s from Way Motor Works. I didn't want to futz with spring rates and they took the time to road and track test their setup. In TSW we trust?! :p

Ok so 448 fronts and 336 rears. Thanks and let us know what you think of them. Not sure what DuelL uses. But they revalve and use Hyperco Springs.

^Thanks!

As far as DuelL goes, they use the same 8kg fronts/6kg rears. Didn't think a revalve was necessary and went with linear instead of progressive. Not sure which DuelL uses.

Pretty sure they use linear. No advantage with the progressive.

It's close to DuelL as I can get on the Ohlins at this point. I guess I'll see how it rides soon enough...

Well, that was a big fat waste of a day. I paid whatever necessary fee to get the oil cooler shipped next day and looks like it never arrived. I suppose it can ship late tonight, but so far no shipment.

It was suppose to be delivered by 3pm today, so UPS has some explaining to do and I should probably get a bit of reimbursement on that because instead of being on the road today I have to figure out where it is now and try and get it done later this week, most likely Friday or something because tomorrow I'll be busy with other things...
