just sharing some pics off the eibach springs i installed this weekend, not to low and not to high, seems perfect for a dd. road feel feels smother than stock but the cornering def improved.

picked them up on ebay , new for 240 , 300 is too much. try google shopping and you will find the best price. i did all the work myself with a friends help at his shop, he had the spring compressor, car lift and alighnment frame all there so i didnt have to go anywhere afterwards. price of labor = free

whats wrong with kyb? i had a good experince with them on the m3. do members prefer what you listed as the best shocks for the buck?
i noticed quite a bit more bounce on bad freeway roads. would the diff shocks eliminate most off the bounce?

The reason it's bouncy is because you don't have enough shock to control the stiffer springs. The stock shocks are valved to (almost, sort of, kind of) control the stock springs, which are kind of on the soft side anyway. If you install stiffer springs (which lowering springs are), you need a stiffer shock to control them. Another vote for Koni or Bilstein sports.
