Snows with Steelies but no TPMS
I am a new (to me) Mini owner with 4 Snow Tires from my Miata on Steel wheels. I plan on trying them out on the Mini (Tire rack calls out the same size tire). My wheels do not have the TPMS installed. What happens if I drive the car with no TPMS installed? Is there a Warning sound, or just an indicator?
Thanks in advance.

The warning light comes when you start it and the one on the Tach. shows the TPMS symbol and inactive and goes out then the TPMS symbol shows up on the Center Speedo and after awhile you don't even notice it. I have set a wheel on our Clubman with no TPMS and no problem. When I take them off this winter to fix the road rash I will install the TPMS sensors I have sitting on the shelf. I have set in the wheels that came with the Mini but also bought an extra set the 16" wheel i bought. Really shouldn't be an issue.
