Do any of you West Coasters show booking info for the Manon yet? I know that the ship's still a week out of Southampton, but still, it would be nice to at least see some confirmation that my VIN is booked.

It's official!! I'm on the Undine. Minibird seemed to like "hanging" in the UK, probably had a pint or two, and ended up missing the Freedom Saturday. but he is booked and received at port for the Undine. Leaves tomorrow and arrives on the 28th. So Minibird is being shipped from, Southampton, and lands in, ahhh, Southampton a week or two later!!

The Undine booking #GBSOU532068

Phil,
You seem to know the are pretty well, used to live on the Island?

Nope, nothing on my mini... Askmini says my mini is due to finish production on 6/19. (wow, that's tomorrow!) I think it takes at least a few days to make it to the port. I guess I'm expecting to show up in WW's system 6/21 or 6/22...

Hey Birdman

Congrats on the Undine confirmation . Won't be long now!!

I was born in Manhattan, lived in New Hyde Park as a toddler but raised mostly in the north Bronx. At one time or another I lived in every borough of NYC before moving to Virginia in 1985. And of course I spent much time over the years visiting friends, family, Jones Beach, etc. on the Island.

Yep, on the way. Time to start watching the Unide cross the pond. She departs Southampton at 5:00pm Eastern time (22:00 UK time).

Anyone else on the Undine?

Tracking(still shows it coming east from US to euroland, will start updating once it leaves southampton again):http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shi...html?call=SHJC

For those on the Freedom, she is about 1/4 the way across already!!

Thanks for the link. Question: if the Freedom hasn't reported in since 17-June at 1800 hours, how do you know she's made it 1/4 the way across?

Hi all...

just found out from a live AskMini rep that my baby was completed as of Friday 6/15/07!!! Yippee!!! But as you all probably knew, askmini couldn't give me anymore info beyond that, since now it's in shipping's hands. Now I just have to see when my MA will call to tell me what ship I'm to hopefully sail on.

Congrats howdyem! My MA says he still doesn't have shipping info for me, so I'm hoping I didn't miss TWO boats this weekend. :(

Birdman, thanks for the graphic, you're my hero! But how come when I click on the link you posted yesterday, I don't get the June 18 location?

Great news Howdyem! Now the trek to your door begins.

Peddani & Howdyem, I totally second Birdman's advice. When my car was already loaded on the boat, I got an e-mail from my MA congratulating me that the car had just been completed. Her info was at least three days behind.

Stiff upper lip folks. Perhaps, unbeknownst to you, your little ones have already slipped onto a boat. Either way, you'll find out real soon (but of course, not soon enough).

Just got my VIN from my MA.

Thought I would take a chance and check on the W&W site.

Apparantly, I'm already received at the terminal, and have a booking number on the Undine.

Anyone know where I could find out when the Undine is due to arrive in Halifax??

Undine leaves today 6/19, arrives Halifax 6/26. YOu can do a schedule search by vessel on the ww site; i think when it finds the VIN it will give you the Voyage as well - you should be able to just click the link.

Pav,
Welcome aboard!! We leave the dock today on the Undine at 5:00pm Eastern time (10:00pm UK time) tonight!! I think our mini's look so nice, they wanted to leave under the cover of darkness so people didn't see them ......

Thanks Birdman! I agree, Dark Silver and Astro Black are best shown off at night!

I'm just hoping the W&W site is accurate. Do you guys know of any people that were booked on a ship and later found out the site was wrong?

I'm worried I'm getting my hopes up and I'll find out tomorrow that I missed the Undine!

UPDATE: The Undine got in a bit late last night, so we are leaving at 6:00pm eastern time (11pm UK time) instead of 5pm.

No complaints here. Just got the update. Im now loaded on the vessel!

I'm assuming since I'm first off the boat, I should be one of the last ones loaded. Lets finish loading and push off! (Once everyone is aboard, I mean )

Anyone else on the Undine besides Birdman and I?

ahhhhh shhhhh_____TTTT!!!! The Undine is now bumped another hour!!! now it's leaving at midnight(uk time) Comon already!!! Your delaying my delivery!!!

heeee hee he ;-)

Anybody else onboard the Undine? Looks like there are only a few mini's loaded. the booking number only shows 86 mini vin#'s, but half of those are on a "Waiting List Status" meaning, they might not get on. Minibird is on baby!!

Hi All, I am also in production week 24 and have scanned through this thread. Not sure if someone posted this already but for those on the FREEDOM, we are expected to dock on Monday (6/25) at 1pm eastern. I was hoping we'd be in ny by this weekend but oh well (i guess :( )...whats a few more days.
Btw, does anyone know how long it should take from the time they offload our babies til the time it makes it to our dealers? I live in PA.

carla,
From what I have read around here, the mini can spend anywhere from 1 day to 3 days, ussually the later at the VDC, is then shipped to your dealer, which normally takes a day, especially for you since your so close to Newark. I'd bet your dealer will get the car around Friday. How fast they detail it, and call you for pickup is another story,,,,
