? on order

I ordered my Clubman on 4/21. Can I still make changes? I had settled on Dark Silver, but now I'm seriously considering Lightning Blue with a black roof--haven't seen one yet.

You can as long as the production hasn't stated. I tried to add a few things (headliner upgrade and taillights) but production had already started (or it was VERY close to starting). My dealer was willing to change it, but it would have delayed my Clubbie by 3 weeks or so as my inital order was going to be built one way or another. It also would have provided another near-replica of my Mini in the area (at least I told myself this.)

I just decided these were options I could live without and didn't need to spend the extra money. Color choice is pretty significant though. Get the color you want!

Do you have an order number? If so use it to log on to Owners Lounge at MINIUSA.com and go to Track Your MINI. You can change the specs up to the point it goes into production. If you don't have a production number ask you salesperson for it.

Check out the threads here to track your MINI as it ships across the Atlantic. I could see when mine was loaded on the boat in Southampton and followed the boat right up New York Harbor to the dock.

Call your MA first thing in the morning - don't just go by the Owner's Lounge.

Lightning Blue/BLK was one of the two color combinations I was after...but I decided on BRG/BLK. I believe there is a Lightning Blue with black roof... Now I recall that both of these were very difficult to find. Here's two thumbnails that you can click on https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...87&postcount=4 - I think it's beautiful and was very tempted... You can also look through the Lightning Blue Club thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...Lightning+Blue at least you will see an MC and MCS with a black roof.

I found this one, but it's not very attractive.

Right, that's one of the two I had found. It is hard to find them but I really think that combo would look great. Maybe you can get someone to photoshop one for you.

You did try configuring your choices on the MINIUSA web site, didn't you? It's not the best picture, but it does give you a pretty good look at all the color combinations.

Yes. It just seems that the actual colors (when compared to the Mini Site) are much different. I actually have spent waaaay to much time on the configurator!

I am involved with a regional sort of board called NEMINI.org and fortunately I have some pals on there that photoshopped a BRG/BLK for me http://nemini.org/index.php?topic=10533.0 which helped to put my mind at ease...and then my dealer ended up getting one that had been ordered (but way too loaded for me) so I got to see it in real life... I'm sure I would have loved the Lightning Blue/Black, too... Honestly not sure why I decided to go BRG...perhaps because I'd loved the Indi Blue so much?

MINI has truly created an obsession.

Hey, McCoin - I see you found your way over there http://nemini.org/index.php?referredby=59

Yup, Otra I'm spending all my time on MINI discussion groups or out driving. No time for anything else.

Try the www.mini.ca site. They have much better images.

I understand McCoin and it's spring, too! Great site Will - much better than the MINIUSA's for the visuals.
