Got a new one guys!

cheap and cool looking! only $8 at wally world. install time, about 5 minutes. can be done in black or chrome!
get that door sill cover stuff, line the rear plastic pieces of the front seats! gives them a small but noticeable change.

enjoy! :-)

Yep, in my last car (05 Altima) I had a bathroom sized trash can behind the front passenger seat. Could of done that again and had whomever sits back there out the can in the boot - still might on long trips. This works well for gum wrappers, drive through straw paper, tissues etc.

Gonna put These mothers in!
Not sure where just yet... Maybe copy another members idea of putting them as footwell lights under the dash.

But hey, for $14, how can you go wrong wherever you put them!

So I must have missed "the other members" post about this, but what do these actually do? Or what is the actual intended purpose of these? Maybe that will help me understand what these puppy's really are........

They're puddle lights that project the Mini logo. Courtesy Light Mod thread

Duct-tape fix

Lol, love it! I duct taped mines (invisibly of course) to the drivers inside door, and it clears for my leg perfectly!

Front sunroof cover. About $5. Black foam core, suction cups, super glue. Cut, glue, insert.

Foam core. It's a paper covered piece of foam. In the office supply section of Walmart. With all the poster board. It should be like 19" wide, and over 2 ft long. Keep the width, and cut about 24-25" length to cover most of the front sunroof.

I cut mine at 22", which turns out is a little short, so I may re do it later. Remember, you can always cut more off, but not put it back! Ad while it is fairy cheap at $3 a piece, you don't want to afford messing up several times by making pieces too short.

Also, save your bits, they are useful for many other projects!

I am not understanding the purpose of this device... are there times when you want to block-out the sun completely or something?

You've got it - sometimes when driving midday, even the heavily factory-tinted sunroof and the perforated shade are not quite enough...

The car gets so hot just sitting with the sun beating in on it. Blocking out the sunroof helps tons. Also, I get tired of wearing a hat when I drive around and it's sunny out. That perforated shade is a joke.

I picked up the $5 tint sheets from the baby supply section at Target, after seeing how effective it was on the side rear passenger windows on my wife's car (two kids in car seats, one infant, one almost 4).

Lined up the two sheets from the pack, cut to fit front sunroof panel with a razor. Boom. Done.

But if you do this, get the $6 stuff at Babies R Us instead. Unlike the $5 Target stuff, the sides are all cut straight and square, and it has no obnoxious Eddie Bauer logo on it. The $1 extra is worth it.
