copy the location of your sig pic, the web address. open your user control panel user CP and go to edit signature, click the insert image icon, past the location hit enter. that is how I do it. I am running Windows XP, Mozilla Firefox

I Can't seem to copy and paste, because my Mozilla Firefox config won't allow it.
Any thoughts on how I can over come this

Upload your signature to your gallery here on NAM.

Once it's in the gallery, go into your gallery and open up your sig picture. Right click on it and select properties.

Under image properties highlight the URL that's shown and copy it either by right clicking and selecting copy, or by pressing ctrl C.

Then head over into your control panel and edit your sig. In the text box that opens paste that url into the box inside an img tag. The text in the box should look like this (without the spaces)

[img ]yoururlhere.com[/ img]

Then press submit. Please note that NAM site guidelines require sig size to be 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels. While the rule is strictly enforced, please try and kept your sig size close to what's specified in the site guidelines. Not all of our members have broadband connections and oversized sigs slow down page loading for them significantly... Thanks!

Cheers for that

All my sigs are the size you require, I've managed to upload 2 onto my gallery, been into the properties, tried to copy the url, but when it comes to pasting into the signature box, no paste facility either by right click or if I used the clipboard icon on the posting.
I then tried putting the url adress in manually, with unsuccesfull results

I'm rather confused
Please help a bumbling English man out a bit further!!!!
Cheers my pedigree chumbs

If you can't right click and select copy paste then use ctrl-c to copy and ctrl-v to paste. I noticed the same thing with mozilla and writing posts on here, just use the keyboard shortcuts and it works fine.

It's looks like you're pretty close. Just remove the spaces in the entire tag you posted, including inside the [] with img. I can't show you directly because it would hose up the post. But it looks like you're there

Rams, if you delete the extra space after the "g" in [img], you should be okay.
