Anyone use interior graphic stickers??

I have graphics on the exterior of the car, but I would like to put a sunroof graphic in the rear sunroof. I have seen graphics on trucks and vans that install on the inside. I'm looking for someplace to order these that would mount like static cling to the inside. Has anyone done this or know of a place?

Check with your local sign shop. They might be able to make one custom for you.

The problem with the local shops is that they don't seem to be interested in doing anything unusual or creative. All they want to do is what they always have done.

Good suggestion. I was emailing with him about an idea, and he was very helpful and responsive. He did say that the clings are not STATIC, they do have adhesive, but can be removed and re-applied. This is all I know.

PPE,

Were you going to do an interior design? Were you creating a custom design? I don't mind it not being static if it can be removed and reapplied fairly easily, and numerous times.

I get new wild ideas in my head every day!!! I was emailing with him about a custom interior side window design. I have decided that I have way too many ideas going in toooo many directions (MINIclo and hubby are right sometimes ), so for the mean time, I am going to amuse myself with inexpensive, temporary type side window decals (FRAGGLE ROCK static cling from ebay ,etc....) until I feel more commited to something........

I just don't know how many times it could be removed.............Chows4Us knows more..........

PPE is correct, I have some.

Its hard to see because to the Sun lighting and the window tint but look close and you will see a b&w checkerboard pattern in the rear window. In my case its supposed to be subtle its supposed to look like a reflection of the roof. From a distance it looks just like that ... up close, the tint makes it real subtle.

They were custom made by Minipirate. Its not a clingy, a Clingy could never take the abuse of constant removal. Its a thinker plastic with a low tack adhesive. The original set Was put on and off a half dozen time and still looked fine and would have stuck a lot more but we just trashed them (not cut right). Current ones are just there. Minor bubble to smooth out when I get time.

Hope that helped

Hi guys and galls

Our window decals are digitally printed onto a clear film (or onto a white vinyl if required), then we apply a low-tac self adhesive to the front of the print. This way they can be installed from the inside of the car.

The decals can be removed many times if you are carefull and don't tug or twist them. This technology is used in the retail industry a lot for window dressing on the inside of shops/outlets for promotional activity.

And as it is digitally printed you can have anything you want. We are currently looking into what amount of transparancy and opacity we can do so you can see thru' them if you wanted to. Oh and one thing with the clear film is that anything white will be clear

If any one needs more info or wants to chat about it just PM or email me.

Cheers for now

does that mean mini pirate does sunroofs, too? didn't see it on the site.

I want to get quotes on custom sunroof decals, and the only two places i know about are mini pirate and cooper flags.

It seems to me that he is willing/able to work on just about anything that you want?

You could also consider researching businesses that are not specific to MINI but do custom work................?

I can attest to Phil's work. Everything he has done for me was custom made, not on his website. He has gone out of the way to get exactly what I wanted. Here are two pics ... NO, I dont work for Phil but you never know when I might want a change!

I might add he sent me dozens of variations to choose from so he was doing the custom design on his comp with very quick turnaround

In this pic he did the 37 "meatball" my wife designed. The sidestripes are just OEM MINI.

This pic is a variation of one of his boot designs custom cut to fit around the GB Badge and JCW boot handle

There are lots of graphics on lots of vehicles out there (commercial, buses, etc...). See what you kind outside of the MINI realm?

Hi guys an galls, we don't do roof and sunroofs as stock items but simply treat these as custom projects. So we are willing to do sunroof decals if people want them
