Hi! Click on Ryan's CWFAC on his last post. There is a link to the shipping company. Follow the screens to "tracking auto" and put in your production numer starting with the letters TD.... mine is TD 67742..it will then show you your booking and a tentative vessel.... :smile:

OL Status update!

Pyro is at the VDC with an EDD of April 10th. Wahooooooo! I was hoping to pick it up on Friday the 11th so I can be motoring on my B-day on the 13th.

According to Miniusa, my DS/B MCS is at the dealer. I am calling the dealer 1st thing Monday morning!!!

 

Ok guys, just drove back from NH with my mini!!!!! I'm still not that comfy with the stick, but she's got nearly 400 miles on her now. I woke up at 6 this morning, to get more practice in , then left at 9 and drove over 4 hours through, snow, freezing rain, tarrential rain, and stop & go Brooklyn/Queens Expressway traffic!!!! Now I am pooped! That car is great, so nice inside that I actually felt more comfortable about driving the stick when I was in the car, rather than outside of it thinking about it. Already have a tiny dent in the windshield :evil: but everything else is right on. I'm going to post pictures now, and then that's it, I'm totally wiped out from the car!

For those of us with our pride and joys aboard the Tosca, I can confirm that the ship has now departed NYC for SC! YEH ....

 

OK, today I got good news and bad news. The good news is that my MINI is at the dealership. The bad news is that they built it without the HK upgrade :evil: . The car was ordered with the HK, but the factory did not put it in. The GM at my dealership said this is the third or fourth they've received without the ordered HK upgrade installed. She is very pi$$ed, maybe more so than I right now (I'm more sad than anything). Here I've waited all this time and my MINI is not what I ordered. The sound system is very important to me, so this is a real drag. The dealer's GM placed a call to MINI USA and will hopefully get back to me on Monday with a response from them about how they plan on rectifying the situation. The problem I have is that I've been renting a car for the past two months while awaiting my MINI. I think they may offer to "put me into something" and build another MINI to my specifications(if they can get it right). I just don't know if I have it in me to wait another 2-3 months. Oh well, I'll know more on Monday, I hope. Hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Congrats! Beautiful car! I spoke to my folks who live in Laconia, NH and they told me the weather they have been having. I use to live there so I know how the weather can be and the driving. Obviously, you got a great chance to learn quickly. I hope you have as much fun with your MINI as I am with mine. They are the most fun you can have in a car.

What's the SoundModule? I didn't go HK, but if there's a way to boost sound without it...

PJ. there's supposedly a missing feature on my MINI as well, Daniel was supposed to get DSC, and now they can't find it listed anywhere but the initial paperwork I did. Obviously, the knocked the cost of it off of my order, but it would still be nice to get a little compensation for the mistake. So it happens.

Thanks for the link to the order tracking, but my production # is coming up blank. Everyone else seems to have a # in the 67... range, but mine is 3704406. Anyone know why mine would be different?
