Sorry Katiedidmini I have yet to find the Undine's call sign. It was all just a bit of Photoshop fun.

Rat, the wife is only marginally impressed with my photshop. She is a lot more impressed with turning cars that are undrived into cash. Honestly, once I get the MINI I don't expect that I would be driving the Miata much anyway. Might as well get all I can for it since it isn't going up in value.

Alright, so it's not Monday but i've got some time while the girlfriend's takin a nap...an afternoon full of motoring wore here out! Everything came exactly as ordered on the car.. the detailer didn't do such a great job, but it still looked great. I also picked up a few scars already as i noticed some teeny tiny little nicks on the bottom side.. but oh well. I'm still missing my gray flo mats b/c the service place closed at 1pm. I also am getting lojack because with the 20% savings on my insurance, i'll break even.. not a bad deal at all!

Anyway, here are some pictures of Winnie, she's very pleased to meet you all!

Side Angle (notice the white turn indicators)

These will be Temp tags... soon will be a VA BEACH plate that says LTS-MTR

Interior, you can sorta see the installed arm rest (which is GREAT)

I also have a better pic of the armrest, hotpocket, and glove organizer if you all are interested.

Ryan, you can officially graduate me!

Harman/Kardon sounds AWESOME.. very clear and crisp... couple things i don't like about the display in general... only has the track number... no minutes/seconds, or volume indicator.. but i'll get over it.. also, dunno if it's H/K or not, but it pics up the name of the SONG on the RADIO and displays that.. only the stations with some certain coding, but it's the majority... well around here, anyway (ie COAST, POINT).

Bout to head to Richmond... can't wait to check out the Xenons!

bye guys!

Welcome to CWFAC Res0zvle! I sent you a PM, but do tell the rest of the Club about your MINI too. Since you have your VIN (but it's the highest MCS to date), you must be at Status 150.

Tell us about your colors and options, as well as your dealership and hometown!

Cheers,
Ryan

Looks like UNDINE's callsign is DRGM. This is dated from 1996.

Found it at http://www.dtic.mil/jcs/j6/cceb/acps/acp113.pdf

Ok, theCWFAC website has been updated to include our newest memer, Res0zvle (aka Jim). He's our latest Pure Silver/Black MCS, he plans on autocrossing, so his only goodie is the multi-function steering wheel. He's currently at status 150; everyone say Hi!

Cheers,
Ryan

Ryan,
Winnie looks awesome! Motor'nMAX looks a lot like her. Black roof and Lapis is all that is different. I am interested in the same goodies you have (hotpocket, glove box organizer and especially an armrest) so I am very interested in your review of them. Enjoy your motoring, we are envious

Regards

Ryan,

Congratulations on your MINI. It looks great! Thanks for posting the pics. I am sure we all would love to see the glove box organizer, hot pocket, etc.

Do you have the magnesium color door panels. Looks like that in the pictures, and I have not seen any at my dealer How about a snap of the inner door?

Do you have to say "I am out of this stinkin club"? I hope not....

I found this site too in my search, but I think it is a military ship.

W&W's Undine was built in '03, the most recent update to the pdf was '02. The ships that we know the callsign of aren't included on the pdf list.

I'm still looking though.

that makes sense Wastik, can't have a call sign for a ship 7 years in advance

Welcome Tourist, I sent you a PM; tell us all about your MINI (critical stuff) like, Cooper or S

The weather here in Detroit has been very strange. Everyday, the temperature is about 20 degrees different than the day before. monday=10, tuesday=40, wednesday=15, thursday=35, friday, 20, saturday, 40, today, 15! We had a rainstorm yesterday, now everything's iced up This borderline freezing crap has got to go! I'm glad I'm not getting my MCS for another month!

Cheers,
Ryan

So Katie, which ship is what?

Let's play a game of "guess who?"
The one in NY is the Carmen
westernmost Atlantic is the Undine
easternmost Atlantic is the Jingu Maru
and the Veracruz and England are reference points, yes?

What did I score?!

Alright, got some more pics for ya as asked...

shot of the door.. anthracite with gray interior...

Glove box organizer... sorry bout the sun reflection...material matches exactly the interior of the glove box...

Center arm rest closer up...

and the hotpocket, which is great.. not a good pic though...shoulda put something in it... i didn't use the velcro, just popped it in..

As for the MINI itself.. have driven 250 miles.. still on it's first tank.. but the computer tells me i've got about 70 miles left. Drove PLENTY of curvy VA mountain roads on the way to my girlfriends.. did at least twice the posted limit on the s-curves. PLENTY of stares and comments.. kinda weird, but fun!sun roof was wide open, windows down... near 70 degrees today, couldn't ask for better motoring weather. heading back home tomorrow.. but just on the boring interstate vs the two laned roads i was on today. next trip is up I-95 to baltimore, thrusday.

Tomorrow, gotta pick up the flo mats and get the paint protection as well as interior treatment done, and tuesday, getting LoJack installed.

later guys!

ryan
