R50/53 THE APRIL CLUB
Ryan,
Thanks for taking the time to post the pics! Now I see how handy that glovebox organizer is. And I never saw that door panel color combo; it looks great.
Now the acid test. How comfortable is it going to be on the 95 (interstate)? We have to drive them to get to the fun roads sometimes, and am looking forward to your feedback when you get back from Balimore.

Thanks for the additional pictures Ryan! One more question...what exactly is the hot pocket? I havn't seen much or heard of it. But the car looks great! I really like the glove box organizer!

>>W&W's Undine was built in '03, the most recent update to the pdf was '02. The ships that we know the callsign of aren't included on the pdf list.

Yeah, I thought DRGM was too easy :???:
Info on this Undine is scarce. From http://www.wlna.com/ocean/fleetInternetR.xls found It can hold 5882 cars (11764 MINIs)
>>Bout to head to Richmond... can't wait to check out the Xenons!
Golly, I'm gettin' jealous. Car looks wonderful. I even like the Silver/Silver color, and I usually prefer the Black roof on just about any color MINI. Seems like I have been at 112 for 3 weeks now. I can tell already that I'll probably be drooling on my pillow all night.
BTW, I have been spending maybe a little too much time in the Vendor's area recently. I have already received my Oil cap and Power Steering cap (both blue, of course) from Moss, along with the mirror gloves. And last night I ordered the BMP strut brace and BMP air filter. I'm bad, I'm bad, I'm bad. And I'm probably going to have to hide the strut brace from my wife until I put it on the car (when she'll never see it, bein' under the bonnet and all).
Here's to smooth sailing on the high seas, and extra coffee in Oxford.

Ok here we go, best darn map I could come up with. Next time I'll try to include Port Hanumea, anyone know what it's coordinates are? Ryan, I don't know but maybe there's a way I could send you these maps and you could put them on the website, instead of taking up so much room here? But then we do get more pages this way, what does everyone prefer?
Check out this webcam from the Panama Canal.

Katie.
The Port "why KNEE me" coordinates from the ultimate site are
-119.203 31.162. These are from the ultimate tracking site, and I think they are a bit off.
The Panama canal is -79.5 8.9

I finally have a Mini -- I guess it got stuck in the birth canal. While my mini was slated for production the week of March 7, it did not make it to status 160 until today. At least I should be heading to the docks. I hope the rest of you on Carmen are holding a spot for me.
Ok, I know this isn't the final lineup yet, but since Rataha asked so nicely the other day, here are some spy shots from S.H. of your mini's being loaded on...
the Carmen

and the Medea

Anyone alse who isnot yet booked on these boats, you can see there is still plenty of room for you!

aww.. man... Ryan, your car MUST be the faster color!
Mine's still in the paint shop as of this morning.
Katie - if it's not too personal, who was your salesperson over at MINI of Peabody?

well my MINI and me made is safely back to vah beach and she's resting in the driveway. nighttime motoring is sweet... love the xenons, only gripe is that since the xenons come with the lil jet cleaners that activate when you clean the windshield, you can't clean the windshield when driving at high speeds, because the xenon cleaners will break! too bad there's not a separate button/switch doohickey to activate them, but oh well.
Also, my cruise doesn't work! it's weird, when i activate it, and let off the accellerator my speed drops (and continues to do so) BUT the increase button for cruise works. so i dunno what the deal is.. im swinging by the dealer today to check it out. I only use cruise when i keep noticing i'm going 15-20 over the limit. already have 5 tickets in 6 years, and don't want that number increasing with the MINI.. they also forgot to activate the interior lighting when the doors are opened
My trip was sweet, MINI's sweet, avg speed coming home today was 72.1mph, avg mpg was 29.1 on-board computers are sweet, huge sunroofs are sweet, people staring at you smiling is sweet, h/k radios are sweet, sweettarts are sweet (and sour), aftermarket armrests are sweet, cvt is sweet, leatherette is sweet, volume controls on the backs of steering wheels are sweet, motoring is sweet...

Rachel, my MA is Joel, who's been really great! I've only had a bad expience with one person who worked there, his name was Brig or Brik or something, other than that, everyone's been more than helpful.

I talked to a gentleman at Wallenius Wilhelmsen, and asked about a call sign for the Undine. Figured it'd be easiest to go straight to the source. He informed me that they are under STRICT intructions from BMW to not give that information out. Maybe they're concerned about pirates grabbing a boat full of Z4s, 7-series, or more importantly, MINIs. Anyway, looks like that is a dead end.
Just out of curiosity, how were we able to track down the rest of those call signs?

Looks like the Jingu isn't going to arrive until the 14th once again! Can it make up its mind? The mini's must be having too much fun at sea. They want just one more day to take in the fresh marine air and watch the dolphins

OOOOOH! That is interesting. Maybe James Bonds' new bmw that turns into an invisible rocket ship is on board?
The easiest way to get a call sign is from the US coastgaurd website, located here.
