Well didn't think I'd post til Monday, but I couldn't sleep last night, so I ended up getting up real early this morning and drove back home and have some time before I pick up at 10am. Just thought I would say hello and... IM GETTING MY MINI IN 30 MINUTES! wooooooooooooooo!

I'd say that this thread is the only thing keeping me sane while waiting for my car, but, well.. it was too late for that a long time ago!

Have you seen that VW ad with the guy sitting in the car on the assembly line? I can't really laugh at it, since I know how he feels all too well

So what's the story on your cars? I see what they are from the sig lines and how some of yours have a bit of an identity crisis (Mini One comes to mind), but what other names and quirks can you think of to share with us (this) desparate folk?

I'm booked on the CARMEN. Sets sail 3/14-scheduled to arrive in NYC on March 22nd. Yippeeeeeeee!

 

Louie only has 125 miles on him so far. And so far so good! He's a joy to drive. I don't want to get out of him long enough to do anything else. I also got the standard stereo system but does it sound GOOD!!! Having trouble keeping the RPMs below 4500. Have to keep reminding myself not to drive him like the Miata yet. Ahh! Ask RAT,I am a girly car lover. My other car is a red 97 Miata. Oh,BTW, I am a girly

 

My MCS DS/B w/sunroof is also booked on the Carmen.

Can not wait!!!!!!!

 

Looks like about 150 S's on the Carmen so far, should be 1 hell of a party. Katie think you can work up a pic of Flo peering over the deck of the Carmen???
