Hi- I live in NY/CT (in NY until the middle of Feb, then relocating to CT) and my baby's on the AIDA. I don't know how long the car will stay in the Distribution Center- the folks at askMINI said they could give me more info once the car arrives (I guess it has to do with the volume of cars in at any one time). Since the AIDA is so laden with MINI (what's the right plural? MINIs, or MINIS?) my guess it may be there a while... If I get more info, I'll of course share it at once!

Sorry about the mess with the maps, I hadn't read up on the proper procudure for posting a pic in your message. I'll deal with that later, but for now go to this site, and enter 41.0 for the Lattitude, and -64.7 for the longitude, and you will get a map centered on where the AIDA was this morning. You may have to zom the map out if you get an image that does not look map-ish.

Welcome to MCO and to the CWFF club! :smile: I too am turing in my brand new Dodge (Neon) for the MCS. Dodge's return to NASCAR got me excited about the Dodge brand, so while I was on the wait list (which was supposed to take another year for me to get to the top), I bought the Neon to tide me over until I could get the MCS. So now, after numerous problems with the Dodge, I finally get to get rid of it!!

How long will does it take the dealer to get it ready for me? I'm very excited but this is way earlier than I expected!!! The dealer told me I'd have a February production date! Looks to me like I'll be motoring by February!

OK let me get this straight - I ordered a MCS 12/26/02 - now it's being built 1/24/03 - I now have a VIN- Does this make me a feb or march guy? Any idea how long from build date to dealer del.? Also, I'm thinking about the John Cooper Works package - how long for that install before my car would be ready?... I'm getting BRG/W white wheels & all options exc. nav/park....can't wait.....

Appreciate the confidence in my "keeper of the list" capabilities - been fun although one my say a bit obsessive. However, as CWFFC fades away, so will I. Hope the "CWFMCers" find a keeper. My daily search/postings on our MCO will continue as it is very informative and friendly.

There has be a way to automate this type of list for current and future CW Clubs.
