We will be motoring in a Dodge from Dollar middle of the month in the Hawaiian islands! My MINI will be sitting at the dealer waiting for my return. Louie's Mom and MissouriMini will be watching over it for me.

Cargo ready for loading...

Cannot find a whole lot about Wallenius Wilhemsen and the Carmen other than the aforementioned cargo search link that you use with you last seven digits.

Anyway, It would be nice to have a webcam right there!!!

 

The weather forecasters are predicting the possibility of the "Perfect Storm" hitting the Northeast coast on Sunday.

By mid week the storm should be in the mid Atlantic. Guess who else is scheduled to be in the mid Atlantic next week? Carmen and our MINI'S!!!!!!!

Well, I am off work in a few minutes and just wanted to state that LUCK HOLDS OUT, we should be on the CARMEN by departure date 2/15 (tomorrow!!!). Otherwise, who knows.

So, we will see Monday how things go...

It looks like my MCS will be sailing on the Libra Leader out of Southampton on Feb. 18.

It arrives in Hueneme, California on March 10th - and then on its way to Colorado!!

So MAYBE I'll be motoring by March 25th ish.

Since my girlfriend's in town, I had to introduce her to the MINIs in person, so I popped by the dealership so she could look around.. Decided to go ahead and take one out for a spin, and wooooo hooooo she got all excited! Orginally she didn't really like it too much, but is very impressed now... I told them that i was booked on the CARMEN set to sail out tomorrow and they didn't believe that it had gone through that quick, since i ordered it super bowl sunday, but they checked their computer, and lo and behold it was finished. they said "wow" and that it was the quickest they've seen.. saweeeeeeet.. anyway, please please please let the carmen make it here safely with no delays or wars breaking out...

Alright pgrmstr!!!! I'm happy for your movement! From what I've seen, it looks like status 151 is exactly 7-8 days after status 150. This means I'll probably move to 151 on Monday. I can't wait!!!

Ooh -- didn't know that you could arrive at the penultimate day and get "returned to shipper". Yuk WW's schedule site is down this AM so we can't check for others. CARMEN isn't broadcasting to the weather site, either. We are being held incommunicado!

Looks like you were scheduled on the FIDELIO, which shipped from Southhampton on 2/11. Were you waitlisted? Maybe the "Returned to Shipper" just means your MINI didn't make the cut and is waiting to be reassigned to another ship? Call your dealer, they may know. If not, 866-ASK-MINI on Monday. I'll ask in the Feb/Jan groups to see if they've ever seen it.

POSSIBILITY: You're in California, right? The FIDELIO, on which you were scheduled, was bound for Charleston, SC then Georgia, then back to Europe. They might have realized you were on the wrong ship, thus took you off. The other CA bound MINIs seem to be on the TITUS (which sailed the 8th). The LIBERY LEADER is the next CA bound ship and "lily" is booked on that vessel.

THE CARMEN HAS SAILED!!!! (1:04pm EST) :smile: :smile:

 

We are really happy that the Carmen got off ihout a hitch since we are getting socked with a monster snow storm here now. Now I checked the WW site and it does not list my car as being loaded onto the vessel. Do you think they ae like miniusa.com in the lag of information or is it possible that my car is not on the boat?
