Here is my first post! Thought I would visit from roadfly since I have a desperate need to join the March club. I just found out Wed. that my MINI was already ordered. When I went to all the tracking sites and I see that MINI is coming home to daddy on CARMEN. Not only the excitement but the panic of "next step" is hitting home. Anyway to go back and find out when the actual production date was? This thread is going to keep me sane for the rest of the journey. Thank you all.

Welcome minitothemax! If you call 866-ASK-MINI on Monday (between 9am-9pm EST), they should be able to tell you the progression of your MINI through the various statuses. Since you're on the CARMEN, I would venture that you were a 2/7 or a 2/14.

I think all of ours say" received at terminal." It means the MINI GOT there & was waiting to get on the boat! Hopefully they all got ON & are not too sea sick at this point.

Does anyone know how many mini's are on the Carmen. I know that there is a way to find out but I haven't been able to figure it out.

I'm inferring that there are 665 MINIs based on the number that came up when I did a search on the WW site (http://schedule.2wglobal.com/GLWebApps.AppTracking) by "Booking Number" GBSOU113225. I got this number by putting the last 7 characters of my VIN in under "Auto".

My MCS will be sailing with yours on the Libra Leader. I'm assuming you've ordered from Scomp in Littleton??? I'm in Longmont. Where are you???

Hi Lilly - Yeh, I ordered from Schomp. I live in Denver. It's nice to know our MINI's will be travelling together all the way back to beautiful Colorado. Safe trip! :smile: :smile: :smile:

 

Aaron at Schomp said that it usually takes anywhere from 5 to 10 days for the trucks to arrive in Colorado. So its looks like March 23 might be the earliest date. Who knows, it might be April...

Who was your salesperson at Schomp??

 

Aaron was my salesperson as well. I figured it could take up to 2 weeks to get here from CA. Oh well, we'll just appreciate it even more when it arrives!!! I ordered in late January and Aaron said I'd probably see my MINI in late March or early April at the latest. So he was pretty good w/his estimate.

Did you get an alarm? When mine arrives I will have the dealership put one on but I didn't have it on my initial order. Hopefully that won't be an issue. I think I'll call them mid-March and give them a heads up.

You've got a little ride to get down to Schomp from Longmont. At least the ride home will be fun :smile:

 

I did not order an alarm or any dealer installated options.

The drive from Longmont to Littleton is more fun on C-470 (through Boulder and Golden...). I think I'll drive it home that way vs. I-25 (yuck!!).

Maybe I can check out your VR at Schomp. I haven't seen that color in person but it looks great in photos.

OK everyone. It looks like Wallinius has updated their site with which MINIs made on the ship and which did not. It looks like very few didn't make it on, but eveyone might want to check just in case.

It seams as though it is operated by a different company. Those of you who have been confirmed on the Libra Leader did you find that out from the WW site or did you get that infor from ask mini.

The Libra Leader is a WW ship. Her voyage number is ED305-LIL. If you go to the shipping site:
http://213.31.205.37/GLWebApps.AppTracking and search "By Voyage". She's left Germany, on her way to Belgium, then Southampton, then to California.

If you search by "Auto" and enter the last 7 characters of your VIN#, it will tell you if you're on LIBRA LEADER or not.
