The OL on MINIUSA still has Louie "awaiting transport" He'll be sittin' on the dock in NYC before they ever update anything!!! Also ordered my hubby some mini-gear for V-Day & guess what they lost my order. So I reorderd & guess what ,it's still not here Hope I have better luck with the MINI than I've had with MINIUSA

UPDATE !!! Called askmini and they still show me at status 160 so just for SAG's I went to the ship site and put in my VIN and low and below, it was received at terminal this morning and is booked on Tosca !!! Scheduled to depart 23Fed and arrive 4Mar !! MINIDean, you should be out the door tomorrow I would think and will probbaly make the same ship so check the ship site as they seem to know the final movements before askmini....

If the CARMEN followed her, then she could conceivably be two days late too. If not, they could arrive on top of each other in NYC, thus a backup at the VDC <sigh>. Just me being pessimistic!

So still no updates as of yet. I felt like the biggest dork yesterday, I called ASKMINI three times. Thats not why I feel like a dork though, it just happened that each time I called, I got Jen! By the thrid time we just laughed, and had a little 5 min. chat about how I'm such a dork, and how the wait is SO PAINFUL! Jen is the coolest, each time I talked to her she seemed happy to be talking to me. MINI really does a good job hiring people.

Any luck today in tracking the Titus? This is the 3rd day without a location report! I don't know what's up with the accuweather site.

 

No luck on the TITUS yet. She should close to the Panama Canal I would think.

Here is another site to try when looking for ships. This one is nicer because it shows all of the reports from the last 48h not just the last 6.

http://www.ems.psu.edu/wx/findbuoy.html

If you nose around on the site, you can also find maps that correspond to the time your ship last reported in.

Also, I found out that the reporting system being used here is 100% voluntary and it not automated (as far as I can tell). Some ships report more often than others, some not at all.

They updated my OL last night too. ENROUTE with EDD 3/6. I'll believe it when I see him

 

Update for me to! As of today, I am at status 160. Released to Distribution. I checked the ship site, but my VIN didn't show anything. I'm sure tomorrow I'll see something. :smile: I'm sure I'll be booked on the Tosca as well, however it looks like the ship is actually departing on the 24th and arriving in NY on the 5th of March. I wonder how long it will sit at the port. I still have to have my MINI trucked from NY to California. Arrrg.

CARMEN is still not reporting (to us, at least). I'm certain that she is in the middle of the Atlantic by now and time, tide and patience will bring her into NY. Maybe two days late but what is this against the backdrop of history? Phhtt! That's what. We'll be motoring soon, folks, hang tight!

Don't let anything too exciting happen for the next few days. Me n' me sweetie are going up to visit friends in NJ over a long weekend and plan to go into the Apple for a day. See y'all when I return!

Help, I'm a doofus. I can't find my ship, Libra Leader. It set sail from Southhampton on 2-18-03 bound for CA. I put my call sign in the accuweather site and came up w/'No Entry for Station'.

Anybody else been able to track Libra. Maybe it can't swim. YIKES......
