Jacking up mini as high as possible?

I have an suv jack and 6 ton suv jack stands. I have owned and own tons of vehicles. For whatever reason, I am having a hard time getting it up high with everything fully raised.

Help.

Thanks!

Sorry, I am looking for jacking points which get the vehicle up as high as possible.

I don't have as much room as I'd like to have under the vehicle.

There is a jack point under the center behind the engine. It’s a round section of the frame that looks like a pipe crossection. Problem is you can’t get to it with a jack because the car is too low. So what I do is drive the car up onto a couple of 2x6s laying flat to raise the front of the car enough to slide a jack under it. If you can jack one side of the car up and then put a block under each front tire individually then jack up the front using the center point and put jack stands under the side jack points. There are other methods but that’s mine.

I use the block of wood method, but I don’t put it under the sill the way he shows. I have an aero kit installed, and there’s no meat there to lift with. I slide the jack a little more under the car and put the wood on the frame. There’s a good point of balance there behind the door hinge, and I can get the jack in at the right angle to still allow room for the front stand.

If if I were lifting it really high, I’d get it up on stands first, then lift again and re-adjust the stands.

If you want to invest in a full jack system and use it on multiple cars and such, check out quickjack : https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...00-review.html
