15 to 19 without jacking up motor possible?

I currently have my 15% pulley on and it looks like there is space to loosen and remove the outer part to put on the 19% without loosening the mounts and jacking up the motor. Can anyone confirm that the bolts and pulley will slide out of there?

Since you have a helix, you can do it. I did it without jacking up the engine. It'll take a lot of patience though since there's very little room for your hands...

And no room to properly get a torque wrench in there.

I suppose, but all the guys who want to switch to 15% for track and 19% for the road do it this way so... If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.

Excellent. This weekends trip through the PA mountains should be alot of fun. I love it when the wife just keeps asking, "do you have to drive like this?"

I get that too! Except her line is, "I bet you wouldn't have to fill up your car as often if you didn't floor it all the time." I then respond with evil death glare.

How about, "I thought you said that this was an economy car, why do you
buy the most expensive grade of gas"?

If you remove the inner fender liner it helps, so you can see the belt to get it back on. Also if the pulley sticks to the shaft, insert 2 screws into the 2 threaded holes and it will push the pulley off the hub.

Is it possible to do without removing the inner fender well? I think he's going to have to remove the passenger front wheel and the wheel well before even starting to do it.

I've always removed my inner fender, it just makes it easier.
Also having a ratcheting tool like a Chapman helps.

I had my pulley installed at a shop because that install looked too intense for me to do on my own. But now that I know I can swap out my 17% without lifting the engine, maybe I'll have to upgrade down the road. My question is does the pulley center it's self when you tighten the bolts?

But lifting the motor is so easy...

why NOT do it? IT's a few bolts and a jack.... If it really is a fight to get everything done without lifting the motor, I don't know if it will be any faster to skip that step...
