GOT IT.We took delivery this past Saturday.What a time.Prestige Mini did a great job putting the whole package together.My wife and I were at the showroom 8:30am.Adam, our motoring advisor had all the paper work in order and before I knew it we were sitting in the car.My wife had to keep wiping the drool off of my face.Adam did his very informative schpeel for about 30 to 40 min.And then,we were off to motor the day away.I could not stop smiling The HK cranks and the Mini alarm system they installed is really neat.The car is everything we could ask for and more.We love it!!!
That morning there was another delivery.An indi blue/white/nav sitting next to us.I did not get a chance to ask you your name but just wanted to say congrat's to you!
If you can,reply with your thoughts about the car and your delivery.
I still can't believe it's here! I was afraid that the whole thing would be somewhat anti-climactic.Boy,was I wrong.For all of you still waiting,be patient,your day will come and it will be well worth it.For everyone in the January club,thank's for all the great info and support.Enjoy your Mini's and keep in touch on MCO. I am picking up my MINI tomarrow at 1230 and I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I oredered the rubber mats and a chrome pipe !! anyone get the rubber mats???

 

Yah know I forgot to ask.I also wanted to get more info on the Sirius sattilite radio reciever.Forgot about that too.I was in shock.I could not believe that it was actually our car.After sitting in show room models for so long,I was waiting for someone to ask me to get out of the car.We placed our deposit in April of 02.It took that long.I will have to take a look to see if the input plug is there.It's hard to look when your motor'in.HAHA.I have already noticed the brake dust on the wheels.That is going to be a challenge to keep clean.New Jersey roads are loaded with salt and sand as of late.I find myself checking the weather report before I take the Mini out.Snow showers this morning,Mini in garage.Nice and sunny tomorrow,Mini drives me to work.Got to pay for it yah know.I love this car.Does anyone know who picked up an indi blue/white/white stripe/nav MCS this past Saturday at Prestige? We got the rubber mats.A good choice in New Jersey.They are easy to clean and hold the water better than the carpet.Don't look too bad either.jaydawg

 

mjc: The rubber mats are good. You'll be pleased. They look cool, and work in crappy, slushy weather. And they clean easily!

Thursday will be the day for me! Left VDC on a truck for a dealer 2hrs. away this morning. Snows tires are ready, mounted, and waiting for car to show up. Since I live 400+ miles (north and east) away, hope to motor for a day and then stop by the dealer (Keeler/Latham ,NY) for a final check before I head home to Maine. Is this really happening?

Chips got his this weekend, too. I love it. I can't believe how much fuin it is to drive. Thank you EVERYONE for all your help - from deciding options to enduring the painful waiting process. It was definitely worth it, but I don't want to ever be without it again!

Miniusa online just updated my order tracking and now shows an estimated delivery date of 1/27/03. I won't be able to get to the dealer until February 1, but that is probably close enough to remain a member of the "January" club.Apparently OL does updates more often than just weekly?

Stay off the streets in Chicago for the next few days!

MY MINI was showing a estimated del. date of the 10 then last week it changed to the 18th then today it changed to the 17th and since thurs. my car has been at the dealer and i am picking it up tomarrow ..and just today it changed that my car is at the dealer and not at the vdc....the webcite is alittle off the best thing to do is keep calling ASK MINI everyday ...the updates will help ...........I AM picking mine oup tomarrow and I cant wait tomarrow to pick it up ...YOU GUYS HAVE HELPED SO MUCH>>>>>> 15 hours to go!!!!!!!!!!!

YEAH! I picked up my mini today from prestige mini. Let me tell u all that it was worth the wait and more. Congrats to everyone who got there mini too and good luck to those who are gonna pick thiers up. Can't wait to break her in to see what she really has!!!

 

Just got home and downloaded my pics. Whew! What a day!

First of all, thanks everyone for the good wishes and hanging out in the clubhouse waiting for my report. I, on the other hand, was out MOTORIN'!
