Yah i know that's what I'm trying to avoid lol. I think this are over priced and cost this much just, because it a stock injector and not because they are superior to others. It like the BMW coolant. You ask anyone here and they swear up and down that you can't use anything else. You ask why and no one can give you a real answer, why the BMW coolant is superior then any other. I mean if they where reasonably price, i would get it. Dont get me wrong, maybe in the long run i would end up buying them, but first i need to try to find other alternative.

BMW coolant, or any manufacturer coolant, is recommended because they will turn into a gel and clog everything when mixed with other types of coolant. The only way to avoid this is running 100% water through the system to flush out all OEM coolant, and then re-fill with a mix. In lieu of that, its easy just to top off with bmw/mini coolant. Mixing in the green stuff with oem coolants is always a bad idea.

Hopefully that resolves your coolant mystery. My jeep has green coolant, but other than that I stick to G12 on the VW's and the blue Mini/BMW stuff for the Minis.

Theres also manufacturers that make BMW coolant for less than you get at the dealer. You can find something by Pentosin as a cost alternative to going to the parts counter.

1 autocross and 2 trackdays, 8 20minute sessions, they look worse than my full season autocross set.

I can get one more 2day out of them after flipping I think, I'm going to add as much camber as I can up front I had a little room left but I wont be able to adjust them anymore. Also going full firm, I need more spring the kw v3 are too soft, I think I need like 800 or 900 pounds up front that should keep the tires on the contact patch better

the rear worked well as is, planted but I could lift in turn and the rear would get loose and slide that's about where I like it. But if I up front springs I will up the rear too

HaveATank,

These injectors will fit and I've been using them for over 2 years.

They are 380 cc. Bosch #0280158096. You will need EV6 Female to EV1 Male Plugs, and the have to be wire extended and not the dual sided adapters, otherwise you will have intercooler clearance issues. You can find them used on occasion for cheap in ebay.

Hope this helps.

Got to say I am a bit surprised about the wear. Mine have 3 pretty good track days and an autoX day on a not so good parking lot and they still have most of their tread. Strange

800 or 900 pounds up front? Total or each spring? Either way, mind if I ask for a bit more info as to what you are aiming to correct with the heavier springs? You say that it is to keep the tires on the contact patch better, but I am not sure what you mean. Are you rolling the tires over on the sidewalls?

Yah i just order some. I have does 550cc injectors and already have the extension piece. they cost me $83 for 5 since this are injectors for volvo and there 5 cylinder engines. Guess ill have a spare lol.

Also after doing some exploring, I found out where my Evap leak is coming from. Looks like i actually punctured the Charcoal Canister while installing the Roll cage, So guess i have to get a new one. I was going to patch it up, but don't really want to deal with it again. I figure ill take care of it once and that it. After i replace it ill clear the adaptation again.

Got the transmission insert. guess i have more work to do. Hope this will also fit along with this

Dude you are the man never notice they gave you the size and all. I looked at it but never even bother to pay attention to the second column.

I don't think ill find it locally, but ill give it a try. Going to install the Charcoal Canister today and see if i make the diverter for the Rad today.

I'm going to assume the size is an M8x16mm and the 8.8 is the strength of the bolt.

On Friday I replaced the charcoal canister. It turns out i drilled into it while installing the roll cage.

I looked it up looking for the Bosch Model number.

Try Injector Planet and see if they can get you a set.

Oh, no - its my future track car...gone...
Hate to see a JCW leave the streets this way. Good luck with the sale, though.

Suggest posting it in the Market Place and keep the sale items from messing up your build thread.
