New they're pretty expensive as you can see HERE. If I'm remembering correctly they're usually encoded and have to be encoded by a local dealer to properly function.

Its here and it will have to be coded. Are you throwing a code ?

This is what it looks like , mounts near the DSC unit.

The DCS light comes on and flash when you loose traction, its when it stays on and solid, no matter if you turn the DSC off or on. When you turn it off the DCS light stays on.

1. What kind of tires do you have on right now?

2. Low temps will cause more tire slip.

3. The DSC will kick in on dry pavement on an 80* day if you take off hard.

I've never seen a faulty yaw sensor, they are in the car and protected from the elements. Are you sure it's a problem? The DSC light would stay illuminated if there was cause for concern. Sounds like you need to get in the habit of turning it off when you get in the car.

So it does t one time and then on all the time ? I would get that scanned first ( good scan tool ) to see if its the yaw sensor or just a bad connection. Or you can get the actual fault code.

Yea, when its off, its like a track day with no electronics holding you back, more raw.

I've seen more of these situations come back to needing a wheel speed sensor, than anything else. Unless you spilled the mondo Murican cup of Baja Blast from Taco Bell into the center console, I doubt you need a yaw sensor.

You could either find an oscilloscope and read each sensor to see if/which one is faulting, or wait for more of a hint, like an ABS light coming on.

Yes, reads the faults. Could not get it to code yet, just reprogram a new one, but there will be some software updates that you do online with it in the near future, so its an expanding system.
