HELP: Where to buy oem parts?

I'm new to the mini scene and just found out my car is heating/losing coolant, I need;

Water pump

Water pump housing

Thermostat

Where is the best place to buy great parts at a low price? How much should it cost me? Anything else I should replace at this point? 2009 MCS 97k miles.

if you do both thermostat and pump, also replace the pipe between them. The pump and thermostat are essentially seperate jobs by the way, you really ought to take the time to find the leak instead of just replacing everything.

+1
There are several vendors on this forum each carrying various items. Visit their websites. Any number would be pleased to help you if you make contact with them.

It's interesting that at this posting, there are 396 views shown to be made on this particular thread and only two responses. Hmmmm.

We have water pump super kits HERE that includes all that you need, plus some good additional options to replace while you're in there. Otherwise, the water pump and thermostat/housing is below at that same link. We also have DIY's at our site under MINI > Tech Info Tab (at top) > R56.

You are welcome. Indy shops can be found with a quick google search in your area, try BMW shops as some do MINI also.

You can get OEM parts from ECSTuning, PelicanParts, and WayMotorWorks. All great vendors. They also all regularly post here, as you've already seen. Another great resource to BMW and MINI owners is realoem.com. You just punch in the last 7 characters of your VIN and you can browse exploded diagrams of every single system in your car, complete with part numbers, supplier pricing, and the dates through which each part was used in production. They even have listings of retrofit kits for stuff your car may not have been optioned with. Really great resource that most other car manufacturers do not have.

Thanks for the support. Realoem.com is a great tool when you look for the 11 digit part number. You can also use our ECSTuning site. Realoem.com has most of the catalog, but not all, some part number don't show up like ( 11614584240 ) . If you looking for hard to find parts or strange off ETK parts you can always PM me. I usually can find them or a source that has them.

You can also go to realoem.com to find the correct Part Number. This makes searching online easier for the parts/accessories you need.

I don't know what part of the country you're in, but I've always used http://parts.seattlemini.com/ when it had to be an OE part. They're a little bit cheaper than most places but the shipping is usually a lot cheaper.
