Buying a 2012 Mini Cooper S Coupe

I am buying from a friend. The car has 18k miles!

I am a long-time performance enthusiast, as well as a decent welder-fabricator, so I will be tinkering with this car eventually.

I have seen a number of solid looking performance products on the market for these cars, such as intercooler upgrades, the intake baffle delete hose, exhaust systems, cams, etc.

One item missing is a quality downpipe. I have seen only one downpipe, and I don't care for the look of it.

Anyway, I am looking forward to having this car in my possession and driving it on my 100 mile round trip commute.

I did. I was not impressed with the workmanship from what I see in the pictures. Stainless steel seldom gets treated right.
