Woohoo. Talked to my MA today and he said that our MINI went into production yesterday. ASK-MINI said it will be made on the 19th and gave us our VIN.:smile:

 

looks like most of the ones in production are MC's.... anybody know if any MCS's are in the qeue for production? seems like there hasn't been any activity on my car for a couple of weeks now...... just stuck in order with no specific prod. date yet......

 

24 days ago I sent a check to TATE MINI and the day before yesterday I got a VIN. The '05 H/B MCS is scheduled to be shipped on the 15th of July. After reading everyones story- seems as if I have hit the passing lane. I had a production # of 7456XXX. It's nice to see that I am not the only one that looks up thier status of thier child at least once a day. Good luck to all and hope to see y'all soon at the nursery.

 

Privateer you and I are on the same boat. Quite possibly literally. I went into production yesterday and will complete on the 19th. I just checked and I have a VIN. I have a VIN now she is a real car. I hope they put a little Chili Red ankle band around her back wheel.

 

ninjamini, we should feel comfortable knowing that our babies have each other to keep them occupied and safe on the trip across the pond.:smile:

 

Finished production on the 9th and if I'm correct it should get on the boat on the 14th and arrive the US shores on the 24th! :smile:

 

Its good to have a friend on such a long boat trip. I wish they used planes to send them over here. It would be a better trip and a shorter wait.

 

My MCS finished production on the 10th, and according to the Wallenius Wilhelmsen site is booked on the Medea, leaving Southampton tomorrow. :smile:

Should be in NY on the 22nd of July. Things are moving quickly!

 

According to Mini, production was completed July 9 but I am having no luck finding anything about shipping dates. Did the WW cargo tracking with VIN but no records found. Any help, anyone???

 

oh the anticipation, wow, i am glad to hear that some of yall will be getting your baby soon. and i must agree with you ninjamini, it would be much faster. those that are on the ship, did any of yall get the anthracite headliner? and if so, when you recieve your baby can you post a pic of what it looks like.

I have officially finished production and been booked on a ship. The Patriot to be exact. The patriot should leave tomarrow and arrive at the South Caroline VDC on the 25th of July. Seeing as I was not scheduled to begin produciton until aproximately the 26th I am extremely excited about this news that I just recived this morning ('cuz I've been on vacation and have not checked for a week or so.)Oh my god!! I'm finally gonna get my mini!!!

 

For the last few days I've been getting messages from ASK MINI that said they were performing system maintenance and information was not available, but today they were back to "no specific production date."

We entered production on the 8th. So according to ASK-MINI we should be through production on the 14th.

 

My MCS is on a wait list status to get on the Patriot!

 

My Cooper was completed on 7/5. It is en route aboard the RYUJI.

 

Like JoeDentist, I still have no production date either. It was only ordered two weeks ago, but it seems much longer that.... Oh well.

 

We completed production today and are booked on the Bellona. Status: Ready to Scan at Terminal. This is great since we were originally not going to start production until next week. Yahoo! Let's hope the sailing is smooth.

Nope, I'm on the Jingu Maru, due to dock in New York on 7/15 and in Charleston on 7/20. Both locations have Mini distribution points, right? Anyone know which location distributes to Classic Mini? New York is ~130 miles closer, so I would imagine it gets dropped off there. My car actually has "New York" as its destination, but that might just be because the boat has its first landfall there.

 

I keep looking, but am I the only one who has ordered the red cloth/black leather seat option? I have not seen a picture of one in person except for a small swatch of the red cloth on the internet. Did anyone else opt for this?

 

I didn't know it was possible to get a cloth/leather combo. I went with cloth only because I wanted the gray & black 2 tone seats. What is cloth and what is leather with your selection?

 

Trying to find the Patriot on the ocean weather website is trickier than I thought.
