Oh goodie, if you read my previous post you would know that my car wasnt wait listed, and it hasnt been listed as loaded (even though the other cars have), and the TANABATA has left, a day early. I just went to the WW site trying to see if they updated or anything, and I tracked with my booking number and what wonderful thing happened, my booking number no longer works, yeah! Looks like Im not on the boat now. How wonderful, G reat! Im so excited now, I just love this. Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ok, and 5 minutes later my booking number works and I am still listed as received at terminal, but not loaded, they had better of put me on that boat or someone is gonna get it, because after that the next boat arrives in charleston on the 10th! Booooooooo. I've been looking forward to having this car for a year now and I wont even be able to have it with me at FSU all the time, dont take my 1 of only 2 moments of joy I will have this semester!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Looks like we should be trailermates on the way to Motor City Mini.

MoBoost and markcmini - you guys have to PM me when you pick up your MINI, I might be able to meet you there! Did you know that the new Motor City MINI opens tomorrow? M-59 and Dequindre is the location. :smile:

We haven't heard many Production Status updates, is everyone hiding?

bk_mcs what is your status now, i'm confused.
your said that your number did came out in the booking # right?
did you look in the TANABATA? or you went to the auto and type your vin.
They should not have you in tanabata if it is not loaded since the boat has left!

 

I tried both numbers chris. I am supposed to be on there but I dont know, gonna check before I leave to class.

Oh thank the MINI "gods". They loaded me on the TANABATA at the time above. So there's my update. You wont get another one from me until I see the ship pop up on the tracking thing.

 

Mine was loaded on the Tai Shan on 22/09/2003 9:44...

I just got off the phone with ASK-MINI. My car was completed today (a monday car?!?) and is now status 151.

I'm now off to the WW site to begin plugging my VIN into their universal whatchamacallit. I could have my car by mid-Oct!!!!!

In the search for the WW site URL, I came across a list of the status codes. I realized that 151 did not mean production complete. I called ASK-MINI again and was told that, yes, it had been completed 9/22 and was status 155. Whew!

 

According to the Owner's lounge, my targeted delivery date is set to 10/2/03....anyone else?

Great news. As a fellow 9/26er I'm hoping mine is finished soon. It appears that I am 300 cars behind you on the line based upon VIN#, so maybe by the end of the week I'll be, which I guess will be on time.

Anyone recall the rough time it takes from completion to reaching the boat docks? Days or weeks?

Ryan - It's still kind of open as to when next week I'll be able to pick up the car...hoping for Monday Yup, Know that Motor City MINi moved this past weekend. We'll see how it all comes together.

 

UUUGGGGHHHH, i am still on wait list status. i guess this is normal , since i will be 1st off in NY , i have to be last loaded. but it IS frustrating "Hold Da Boat, Hold Da Boat"

 

My MINI is on the BIJIN, it has been on the boat since the 4th. They sailed on the 8th. STILL SAILING, not due at Port Hueneme until OCT 1st. the wait is driving me crazy. I cant figure out how to track the boat> How do you get to the uscg Marine observation part of the site?

If the ship siisues weather reports frequently, you will be able to track it in the Oceanweather.com site. The Jingu Maru did report weather frequently and I was able to see it while it was crossing the Atlantic Ocean. If the ship does not report weather, you will not see it in the region maps.

 

I'm now 160, waiting for the train to take me to the dock then hop on board for the trek to the new world.

I feel good.

My targeted delivery date was set to 9/18/03..... Well 9/18/03 came and went, and there is still no sign of my car yet. ASK-MINI said the car is already at the VPC and that's beyond their tracking abilities, so they could not tell me anything more.

Just talked to my MA. He said they have not received any 2004's yet. He said just be patient, it will come.

Any of my Tosca shipmates heard from their dealer yet?

My OL says "estimated delivery date 9/25/03"

Now, does this mean the estimated delivery date to me or to the dealer?

I hope this holds true and I will be able to pick up the MINi on Saturday!!!

UhOh. Maybe my previous happy dance was a bit premature. I guess I'll just be patient...

 

Just spoke with my dealer and he expects to see my mini by the end of this week. Add the chrome, driving lights and aux input and I should be seeing it next week. I'm planning on picking it up Friday Oct 3rd, can't wait

 

Well... I made it on the TANABATA.... loaded and the ships long gone from England... So only 3-4 weeks left of this torture.

 

A Tai Shan fact:

BigBlu - my blk/wht rf MC was reported by Wall-Wil as loaded on the Tai Shan this morning (Mon Sept 22 8:21 Southampton UK time. Note that it wa s REPORTED as loaded. That could mean that the Tai Shan sailed away yesterday (21st as posted here on the Oct forum).

My production number is TC49050, and I had a scheduled completion of 12 September. They actually completed production on Sept. 11.

Thought you may have wanted comparative data.
