Austen, you will still need the male end of the harness unless you figure out a way to tie the wires directly into the female
Side. I was going to do the same thing until I couldn't find the male side to make my own pig tails. Even MOB couldn't help me. Hmmmm.
The male connector is available. BMW and MINI use it on a wide range of models. Part #61138373332 is the connector and part #61130006624 is the wire leads. Which you will need two per a connector.
Why not just drop down the foam piece to get to the factory harness and clip off the connectors?

They told me that it wasn't an OEM part available for purchase. Gominigo.com supplied what I needed for roughly 30 bucks I think and I had the parts within 2 days.
Not sure if I can hold out with the waiting game on my NM charge pipe. I want to install my new parts but would rather wait until I have everything and do it all at once. I will wait on the plastic items so I don't take a chance in damaging cold, brittle plastic tabs.

That's my plan Sir. I was just going to make my own male ends. Solder works wonders.
