Maybe thats a mini thing.... I worked at a couple Ford dealers and they were open. But abunch of independent service business were closed too
It has something to do with location and size of the dealer. Both MINI of Peabody and Herb Chambers MINI are open on Saturdays. I even think Chambers is open on Sundays. I've worked for several dealers on the Seacoast that were closed on the weekends. But that was many years ago.
For what it's worth, my dad worked at a Ford dealership in a town of about 800 (not a typo) people for most of my life. They worked every day from 8 - 5 and every Saturday until about 1 PM.
If a service shop isn't open on a Saturday, it's either because no one wants to work, or they don't need the money.

Jeff @ MOB was telling me that they are looking at opening Sat hours in the spring time.
I like both. But I'm at the point in the ownership stage where putting aero on my MCS is pointless and a waste of money unless I have an accident. Then it makes since to upgrade from stock.
Upgrading to a different aero kit is the expensive version of putting in yellow fog lamps, tinting windows, rims, shorty antenna, etc. It's pointless in the same way that upgrading your exhaust, intake, FMIC, etc. is pointless. It's a change to your MINI that you like, whether it's performance based or aesthetic.

I need to replace the rear cover and I want to do the jcw piece by piece. Brand new kits are crazy expensive.
Not to butt into your thread, but would any of you folks like to join us at MINI of Bedford this Sunday (12/9/12) to meet up and then drive to New Hampshire Int'l Speedway for their annual Gift of Lights? We'd meet here at MOB at 4pm and leave for NHIS at 5pm. If you have an interst please let me know so I can explain the details and put you on the attendance list.
Thanks, pardon the interuption and have a safe and happy holiday season.
