You will have to go to the dealer to have them programmed. I've already looked into doing the swap awhile ago. One of my friends was the service manager for Herb Chambers Mini and he told him that it's possible but the car wouldn't have functional headlights until I had them programmed.

I looked at these when I first bought the JCW. 3 things pushed me away from hitting the buy now button: Color not matching factory HID, heat displacement from HID fog light conversion, and the beam pattern being skewed from the lense bucket being pushed forward. None of the pictures show with the fog light on.

David, what if you just did a straight up H13 HID retro kit, and painted your headlights?

If my vehicle didn't have HID's factory, I swapped them out. Can't stand composite headlights.

Did you guys bring this issues up to Jeff or is this something they caught and mentioned during a routine service?

Ditto he brought it all up and did it all however. Apparently 2012 they started using non bmw break pads n they havent seen them before and gave me a pretty hard time about them saying i had aftermarket breaks but didnt replace te wear sensor. After i webt back to the shop with them to show them why they were wrong they replaced them no problem!

On a side note. Bedford can get the painted headlight n taillight rings. They are in the us!!! The headlight rings are 74 a piece. But i worked my boyish charm with niki n got them for 34 each! Two for the price of one!

Any one have experience with Kumho Ecsta 4X, im thinking about a set for fall/winter tire. Im trying to decide be between those all season or a nice set of blizzaks. Its about $300 more for the blizzaks

For some reason black headlight trim on white or red body, to me, look like eyeliner. And also, I think all of us need to buy this:

I'm a fan of the Blizzaks. Are the tires on the rims bad?
