The PIAA Yellows are 2500k bulbs. Every picture I've seen of them looks really good. And I really like that they're actually better fog lamps as well. Makes me happy when form meets function.

I think you could do this for ~$100. You'd need a shop vac and a form made of what you want (read, piece of wood or mdf or something cut to size). Sheets of carbon fiber aren't too expensive, you'd need that and resin. You could use a sticker and just layer it into the resin so it would be "set" into the seat delete.
I suppose you're right, assuming you could print off a sticker / vinyl of the logo. An exterior JCW badge can cost upwards of $80 - $90, which means that the badge alone cost 3 - 4 times what my seat delete cost me to make (including the refreshments).
