Dark vinyl isn't very durable and can be very costly if you don't know how to apply it yourself. I'm on my second set of stripes in under a year and they are already showing road rash.

Note - I'm not a tailgater...

Depends on the Vinyl you buy as well. 3M Di-Noc has a 12 year warranty. Yes please.

I just saw that post for the NM springs too. I think his reason for selling them is the same reason I won't buy lowering springs. I don't want my MINI driving like my old jeep did with leaf springs.

yup. I currently run blizzak WS-60's. I think that's what they are. They are a touch wider than the stock all seasons that came on the car. I thought the car handled really well using the stockers. My snows still seem a bit squishy on the roads. On another note, I replaced the wheel bearing in the Blazer yesterday. Real simple job and now it's back to normal! Doesn't drone out the inside like a jet engine.

Received my DoS high flow dry panel filter today. Thought I'd give it a whirly bird.

I have the aFe oiled filter in mine. You realize I sell aFe filters? I talked to the aFe reps last week and they are developing CAIs and Cat back exhaust for MINIs.

I wasn't aware you sold them. I ran a k&n panel filter for a short period before installing the typhoon hot air intake. I went back to the stock system so I figured I'd give the oil less filter a try.

Yup sell both K&N and aFe. Afe are more popular at this point. Especially the non oiled filters.

I am all done with CAI's on my car. Tried it even after reading up on the one pro of producing noise and all the other negatives. I did not get any power gains from it at all. I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't get it for such a cheap price. I was able to use it for well over a year and then made money when I sold it. Worked out well in the end.

The only intake I want to try is the DOS one that pulls from the wiper cavity. And even then I wouldn't buy it, I would build it. I believe buying a "premade"intake for the N14 is dumb,no offense to anyone else who has, considering there is no noticeable difference in power. From what I have read, my JCW intake is the best intake by far, but it doesn't make the noises I want.

I found a brand new K&N Typhoon kit (used for maybe 5 miles) and lowballed it for $100.00. I sold it after a year and a half of use for about $175ish. I guess I was paid to use it. lol...

So we'll be seeing more Fiats around. Fiat of Manchester just opened on Gold Street. Had an Abarth driver trying to get me to play on the highway last week. Abarth 0 Me 1.

I thinks I threw up a little in the mouth... don't let the FIAT mask tempt you... its mearly a crappy Chrysler product here in the states... with zero power. 8 months and I traded it in for a MINI.

Italian car... built in a Chrysler mexican plant along side Jeep... Serviced in Chrysler service departments... nuff said.
