Navigation & Audio Bluetooth compatibility list
Btw, another Palm Pre (Sprint) user here fully functional even with the address as well on my BT in my MINI. I believe initially someone reported that they were having problems getting the address to show up with the Pre. No so anymore.
Sorry I've been so slow to reply, real life stuff happened and all that!

Trouble with HTC Imagio
I've got the HTC Imagio and get poor results attempting to link to my 2010 JCW. Here are the phone specs:
WM6.5
ROM Version 1.8.605.11
ROM Date 9/14/09
Radio Version 2.05.75WVL
Initially the phone and car link, but can't make a call. Soon the link drops and I see "Searching for phones"
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't see anything obvious around for issues with the Imagio- yours may be the first report on a WM6.5 phone though, this might be part of the issue. Are you still having troubles with it? The only other advise I have would be to do the standard restart the phone and car, then re-run the pairing and try again.
Thanks Price! It's been added to the list, along with a note on the secured mode, much appreciated.

Dang- that sounds like more than the normal fixable issues. Are you trying to sync more than a couple hundred contacts?
Some phones have some advanced Bluetooth options to fiddle with- there might be something there to try?

I've paired up my LG Rumor. I can make and receive calls but it didn't take my address book and i have to enter each name manually. I also have to press the talk button on my phone to answer calls instead of the phone button on the steering wheel. This is o.k for now but I'll try deleting it and re-pairing it again later.

If it is going to take the phone book it may take up to 3 or 4 hours for the first time. This more or less means a long drive as the car has to stay on for this period of time. And it may not work at all can't be sure.
good luck with it
Thanks,

According to nicknbecka's listing which can be found here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...HjCm-AfA&hl=en
the Impression has had conflicting reports. Some have said that it works and other have said it does not work. Unfortunately it seems that no one has figured out the difference between the ones that seem to work and those that do not.
Your profile does not say where you live. If it is in New England PM me and let me know and I can find a way to assist you.

I have an Impression and a 2010 MCS. After numerous attempts at pairing the two, I gave up and considered getting another phone. At the point I gave up, the phone recognized the car, but the car did not recognize the phone... that is, the phone showed the "MINIXXXX" icon on the Bluetooth app, but the car showed no phone name at all. Of course, any attempts to dial out from the car gave a "No connection" error. Later, as I was driving down the road, I received an incoming call, and everything magically connected. I'm not sure if it was the incoming call that enabled the connection, that is when I noticed it. Been working perfectly ever since...
Works: Yes,
Pairs: Not initially, pairing now has errors but connects after a few seconds,
Dials: Yes,
Address Book (Contacts) sync: Yes,
Voice Dialing: Yes

LG Accolade/Verizon
Good day, all.
I bought the wife a 2010 MC S Clubman w/"Comfort Bluetooth" option. Without going into too much of the detail, my Blackberry Tour and her very, very basic LG Accolade cell phone pair up - down to the contact lists. The steering wheel mounted switches also work for answering the phone/volume. However, her LG Venus was a troublesome pair; very erratic and gave up. We use Verizon.
However, a question to which an answer is elusive to me. This thread is about two years old (wow) but while the center console has a plastic tray that pops in and out, where do I get the gizmo to allow my wife's cell phone to hook up (that is charge and use the vehicle's antenna)? Does that part even exist since my wife's phone is basic? And if it does exist, where can I locate it/order it online?
I'm sure this question has been asked over and over but a definitive answer has been elusive.
Thank you.

Thanks for the note on the LG Accolade, it's the first we've heard of it that I know of. It's now in the list
The tray that the phone connects with is interchangeably called the snap-in/cradle, and is only available for a limited number of phones. Where there's a snap-in available, I have the BMW/MINI part number listed in the spreadsheet under the "Armrest Cradle Available" column.
Out of (somewhat) current phones, it pretty much boils down to iPhone, Blackberry Pearl, and the Motorolla RAZR.
I don't know if anyone sells the newer snap-ins online, I'd suggest talking to a dealer if you can. It can't hurt to ask and show some interest. I took a handful of part numbers from http://www.bimmernav.com, but they only sell two or three of them that are quite old now.

Quick question: has anyone tried to use a new HTC Incredible with their bluetooth system? I just got a new 2010 Cooper with comfort bluetooth and iPod connection and want to know which phone I should get to take full advantage of it. Thanks!
Hi. The way I understand it - there are only a few pop in/out "cradles" that are available to replace the blank one that should have come OEM. My suggestion is to check with the parts manager at the dealer to find out which cradles are available IF you wish to make full advantage of your Comfort Bluetooth armrest setup.
