Going down to the Clubman roll out I saw a couple nice MINIs going towards Boulder.

One on Macaslin in Louisville, MCS all black. On 36 motoring towards Boulder a nice MCS Lib/W.

Really nice to see all the MINIs at Starbucks and over at Schomp. Really loved the window tint on the MCS from Firestone. Now that really cooks.

 

Boyfriend really liked that one too. It was great to see all the MINIs and Minis.

 

Saw a red with black top (i think) r56 with some crazy decals just off of county line headed south on yosemite around 12:00. I was behind you couldent catch up because of traffic. I saw the sticker so you got to be on here!

saw an R53 Red/W heading north on University near Cherry Creek, plate was REDFLYR. I was in the Subaru so no way you saw me. That was last night on the way to work.

 

Saw RUDEBOX parked off 5th in Loveland this afternoon. We waved... the car seemed to smile back.

I saw a nice little Cooper parked in the Denver Center parking garage on Tuesday at lunch.

I snapped a picture, funny I think he/she has a fogger on the front plate.

Anyone here, park in the DCPG on the 6th floor?

 

I was driving along yesterday and came upon a nice looking yellow S with the license place ZELLOW. We drove together for a little ways and exchanged waves, but I thought I'd post here to share. If you're watching ZELLOW, then you should know that I liked your car, it's real sharp.

Saw my first other red mini about a week after I got mine. It was heading north on I-25 around Denver, then we both went to Boulder. It was crappy snow, we both waved. He's actually the mini that had the mini5280.org sticker in there that got me here. Mini people are cool.

I see MINI's all over the place. Silver ones, red ones, blue ones, the occassional pepper white (we rule), yellow ones, etc, etc. At least 6-7 per day. No joke! And, I'm not sure if it's the awesome weather lately but many of them have started waving and acknowledging me! So, thanks to all of them! I love a good MINI wave! (I got dissed a lot in the winter.)
The best part is when I forget I'm not in my MINI and give them the enthusiastic wave from my Nissan. At that point they may either think I'm special or a stalker......oops.

 

I've decided to wave at others in the same car I'm driving. MINIs get a wave when I'm in my MINI, CR-Vs when I'm diving mine and Expeditions too. My daughter thinks I've lost it - possible. I just like to see the expressions as the other Expedition owners is trying to decide if they know me or what.

 

I like it! Look out other Town and Country drivers!! I'm wavin!

 

But he probably thought I was just nuts. I was in Greenwood Village in the parking lot. I had no MINI around me but when I saw the license plate, I decided to wave. He gave me a "what the hell look" so I'm sure he thought I was just some nut, turns out it was a MINI nut without being in the MINI.

 

Some pedestrians waved at me once while I was driving. After an initial WTH are they doing, I figured maybe they had a MINI and I waved back.

 

so i keep seeing this dark gray (sorry for not knowing the color) with black wheels driving around in Thornton..donno who it is...also seen a mini off of hwy 2 and 84??? any ideas?? ohh and a yellow R56 around thornton!!

 

Saw "2M1N14U" pulling into Sonic yeseterday in south Loveland (laser blue?)

At 29th & Taft I passed another Chili Red/Black convt with checkerboard mirrors. Waved but don't think they saw...

Also, as I was crossing the street on 5th & Cleveland, I just had to wave at the Chili Red/White MINI passing through the intersection Just got a stare as they drove by.

I drive HWY 2 everyday, twice a day, from 120th to Quebec. I hardly ever see any MINIs on my drive, just timing I guess. I do see a yellow convertable(sp?) w/ black stripes almost everyday off of Havana between 51st and 56th!

 

You did? I don't recall giving anyone such looks. Where were we at?
