Well, today we took the Coop up Boulder Canyon, swung through Nederland, stopped for breakfast at the Sundance on 119, motored back down Clear Creek Canyon, and my shiny new silver mini is filthy, except of course the headlights ... they self-cleaned on the way down.

You'll mostly find me motoring on the turnpike from North Denver, down 270 to Vasquez and then off to work most days. If I had my way though, I'd take another two weeks vacation and just go 'splorin' ...

 

so did MINI5280. We headed out to Golden, then up Golden Gate Canyon, across the Peak to Peak, down thru Lyons (Lunch at the OsKar Blues) then home via the Zoo....saw the lights.

Keep er clean. Then she is ready for the next trip all the time.

Nice, if you had done lunch then the drive a little later as Jonathan noted, you could have seen us motor by. Here's a sample. We had a great drive.

Then again, you would have seen us West of Ned, versus West of Lyons.

I saw you tonight ... silver mini ... you looked and smiled - I waved and grinned, just passing York going west. And Blue mini, you were two cars ahead of me on the ramp at Vasquez, I couldn't get your attention.
Wow, before I got Stella, I saw mini's everywhere, been waiting all week and got two-fers - way cool!

Not me, interesting week of MINI sightings in Louisville. On Thursday as I was parked at my friends shop a DS/W MCS and CR/W drove by going West on Pine.

On Friday, when I finally made it to the power wash to blast the mag-clor from Sunday off the MINI a nice BRG Cabrio pulled up to do a clean-up. I wish I had been an hour earlier as the wind had just come up and the clouds were blocking the sun.

So if you were the Cabrio driver, next time we will have to talk for a bit or grab a coffee. I was in a rush to get some fuel and dry off the water spots.

 

yesterday I saw the cutest little blue and white cooper S parked in the Parker Walmart parking lot !! I got lucky and got to park one spot away! Our cars looked very cute together! I'm sure they enjoyed chatting while we did our shopping!

 

As I was going to an appointment, I saw a PW Cabrio on South Boulder Road at 75th at the light. I waved, but no response.

In Boulder proper I saw a PW Cabrio parked in the garage by the Medical Center parking at BCH, nobody around to wave at.

On Foothill Parkway on the way back, I saw two Boulder County Sheriffs vehicles with all the lights waving talking with a CR/CR MINI. I hope all is well with him/her.

Sad day for waves or not.

I just saw a PW MCSc driving down my street ...it just left my house. I think PW is the best color for a cabrio.

 

Yesterday and today a dark colored mini (probably black, can't really tell) whizzed by me on 270 heading to the turnpike, it has checkerboard stripes down the bonnet and the boot, no wave, no glance .

I saw one at lunch today close to work, around the I-70 & Dahlia area, dark green all over, but I could only point and scream "Mini! Mini!"- my boss thinks I'm an idiot ... an adorable idiot though ...

None of the mini's I've seen have 5280 stickers, I don't have mine yet, but I'm sure it's coming ...

 

I think your right... and I'm not too biased.... even though it was me.

I see lots driving around boulder now since I pay more attention.

Saw a nice silver with black stripes downtown denver going north on Broadway.

 

bummer :(. That is the hardest part of getting that stitched on properly, the thread strength.

Saw an R56 MCS CR/W with white bonnet stripes, hottie blonde driving. Heading south on I25 south of 225. Passed her by, but was not in my MINI, of course. This was today around 1050am or 11am...somewhere in there.

 

That might have been my Broker at HM Brown (hi, I'm a new mini owner!), she test drove my mini yesterday, I picked it up today!

 

Got a GREAT and enthusiastic wave and flashing lights from an Electric Blue/White MCS with bonnet stripes today as we were cruising around Loveland. Nice to see after getting snubbed so much lately.

 

I parked my dirty Mini nose-to-nose with a gorgeous brand spanking new red Mini this morning at Shepler's at 104th & I-25.

 

do you TAG them with the MINI5280 business card? That would help, and then they would see you here in this forum.

So who parked their BRG/W MCS w/white stripes at Lincoln station all week? You took my spot! It is the best spot in the whole garage and I get there at 4:45 AM just to snag it. But not this week, an intruder, with similar desires to keep the Hummers and riff-raff from parking too close. I forgive you.

 

I need to put some in my glovebox. Planning to visit Schomp next weekend.

 

Was that you in the chili red with white bonnet stripes and a SNAP ON (?) sticker on your back window driving south on 287 to Longmont tonight? Nice to see you but looks like we both had tinted windows to see a "wave." Maybe next time!
