Three hardtops coming up 36 in the cone zones this morning, all looked good, hard to tell if the waves were returned.

I was in the loaner Paceman.

On the way back followed a very nice lighter blue Countryman with white stripes up Indiana to Hwy 128. I went left in the Oxford Green Countryman, you went right.

Nice seeing so many MINIs up in Boulder county.

Yep still nowhere close. ive been getting the Jeep to where it is respectable.

I will be going up to Avon... Might be a day trip, or might be all week, dont know yet.

Just finished a south western round trip in July, 4500 Miles from Colo Spgs to Louisianna to Texas to San Diego to the Redwoods to Fresno to Reno to Salt Lake, Salt Lake back to Colorado. (July 19 to Aug 4)
My daughter and I saw 100 Mini's on this round trip. Most were motoring the other way, I did see my Mini Pearl's twin on the 405, they were behind us and turned off.
We always wave or 'thumbs up' but I am sad to say here in Colorado Springs I have only had 2 wave back. (a dark Green with white stripes and a Yellow with black stripes).. I will keep waving.
This is my First Mini Cooper.. a 2010 Camden, 50th anniversary Edition. It is from New York. Her name is Mini Pearl. Pearl white with a silver 2 stripe down the middle, I have had her for a year, I bought her for last years road trip to New England. 3800 mi Round trip.

She's sitting in the garage right now, but I drive an EB/B 02 MCS, blue tinted windows, and no chrome, and have yet to see any other tuned/modded mini's near me! And even when I do see a mini they never wave back

 

Where about are you?

The well modified MINIs are getting rare, and most are hard to spot when you do see them.

the forum is having trouble uploading pics, but she is EB, black stripes on the hood, white roof, black rims, and unique blue gradient window tint on the back three windows, and it is extremely loud

are brand new apartments going up around 98th between Washington and Grant.
We just moved in this week after they (finally!) opened another building, and it turns out there are THREE Mini owners in this building. 2 R53s and our R55.

I'm sure we'll run across each other eventually. Metaphorically, I hope.

 

Just look for the big white 4 door Jeep with all the spot lights across the top of the windshield. Dont forget to wave.

 

Coming back to CO from Yellowstone yesterday, was passed by a small convoy of 3 Minis on HWY 287 south of Lander, WY. Looked they were having a fun drive.
