Colorado MINI Sightings - Post yours HERE
Yes, they're awesome! I want another one!!! Mine is approximately 6 months old and I reallllly want another one. Does your bro in law have them housed together? We maybe should pm this?
Saw a light yellow JustACooper on I-225 today. I got at from I-25 from the south, she got on from the north. Wave and a nod back!
Her name was "Buttercup" based on the license plate
Then saw a white MCS with black stripes at the intersection of Windemere and Littleton Blvd. Wave and a wave back!

Shout out to Mini owners in the Cross Creek/Adonea subdivision.
There's a Chili Red/Black Roof across the green space from my house. I have to admit I kinda stalk this Mini while waiting for mine to show up. Every morning before my shower I gaze over at it through the bathroom window
I followed a lovely little JustaCooper home yesterday with temporary tags. It appears to be PURPLE!
Maybe when my Mini arrives we can do a little community get together

Here's our sighting story.... (sorry, long story)
My wife Pam has been wanting a new car for quite a while. We dearly love our yellow Hummer H2 but the gas crunch is putting the hurt to us. We need something with very good gas milage to balance things out. The H2 will become our "secondary" vehicle. Pam kept mentioning a Mini as being high on the list of possibilities. We finally got serious about looking last Saturday (8/2/08) and went to our local (only) Colorado Mini dealer. The place was packed with people and there were virtually no minis to be had. We did see an awesome Chili Red John Cooper Works (sold) with black top and black bonnet stripes. Pam loved it but really wants an auto trans. We decided we'd go back to talk to someone on Monday morning when they weren't so busy.
The sighting: On Sunday we decided to hit the Boulder County fair in Longmont. We live in Longmont. After a couple hours we decided to leave and when we got to our truck this is what we saw. (Picture below) We couldn't believe it, it was surely an Omen. Basically exactly the car Pam wants except Pam wants the Hardtop.
The very happy ending to this story is Monday morning we hit the dealer and ordered Pam her car. A Cooper S Hardtop, Chili Red, black top, black bonnet stripes, same wheels as RUDEBOX because they looked so good.
I found this site by Googling RUDEBOX. I'd have to say thanks to RUDEBOX for parking next to our H2 and helping to seal the deal on our new Mini ! =)

LOL!!! but it will be worth the wait!!! My baby is sparkling clean in our garage under her car cover. She only has about 4000 miles on her and she's a year old. She's VERY pampered!!! I honestly CRIED
when I got caught in the rain just ONCE with her. She never sees rain or snow
(and i've been picked on by several, teasing me, saying, "the car's made of metal, not paper mache lol). Anyway, you will LOVE your MINI!!! What name did you decide on anyway? I've heard you have to name them when you order them?

Saw two in Boulder this morning!
Was behind or next to--depending on the time--a blue Clubman S (still with Ralph Schomp plates, temp registration dated for Oct 14th) on my motorcycle on Iris. Then I saw a Cooper, gray with black bonnet stripes, heading north on Broadway.

Nice EB/W MCS in Louisville
Nice Electric blue and white MCS on Hwy 42 & South Boulder Rd. Waved, not sure they saw or reacted to a wave.
Nice MINI, looked very clean.
White bonnet stripes, etc.

Every time I go into Boulder I see a ton of MINIs. No waves though??
I'll wave when I get mine, I swear! Heck, when I meet MINIs on my Harley, I wave. I've gotten some odd looks.
Had a late lunch at Zoka's today in Pine. Saw a nice LY/W MINI with bike rack and two bikes on top as they motored by.
I know they saw Scooter as he was prominent parked in the end spot by the front entrance.
