Ok, so I was going somewhere, I think the mall with my mom (wawawaaaaaa ) and there were two mini coopers, one BRG/B and one IB/W parked with one spot between them. Seeing this little mini party, I parked my CR/B S in between them. It was really cool, but my tagging cards were still being printed. Oh well. Also, I recently saw a DS/B with a scottish license plate, and I was all excited, but a guy cut me off in mid turn (Crazy huh) and that meant I was a little preoccupied with not dying, and didn't wave at the person who waved at me. I was furious with the jerkface in the Hum2, and I'm really sorry about that if that Mini owner reads this!

 

I drive up and down 120th Avenue between Broomfield and Northglenn a lot and see quite a few Minis. Last month I came out of my dr's office to find another mini parked next to me in the parking lot. I thought hey there's one of your cousins. And last night in LODO parked next to an orange one in parking garage. Gotta stick together.
Also see me occasionally on NWPkywy and E470 between Broomfield and Brighton.

 

be sure to pick up some of our business cards. We provide them to any member who wants them, that way when you come across another MINI or Mini you can 'tag' them easily (we put em under the wipers) and let them know we exist. Very often, this leads to a new member (Yes, dues are now due....feel free to pay online anytime) who pays dues and becomes active right away.

I live in Colorado Springs and over the past month I have seen an explosion of MINIs. I drive on south-ish Nevada, Cascade and Tejon and down I-25. I see so many MINIs but not many waves. All MINIs in Springs its say HI!!!

 

what color is your MINI? is it a red MCS?

 

I have an 04 MCS CR w/ white top (no bonnet stripes yet...), it can be kinda dirty sometimes because I live on a dirt road.

 

no worries. mine collects lots of dirt and dust too hehe

i didn't get a chance to meet too many ppl. we got there late friday and were busy most of saturday trying to get pics for the scavenger hunt hehe.

next year we'll take more time off so we can get to know everyone and go on more rides

 

I sadly dont see many at all in the DTC or in aurora.. I have seen maybe 5 in the last 2 weeks, and a really nice LY/LY one!

 

LY/B spotted on Public Rd in Lafayette this evening in front of Puchinelli's. Took a double take thinking it was Lerzard...but it wasn't!

 

I was in Ft Collins this evening and saw 2 different CR/W MINI's in a span of about 5 mins driving by. Both waved back which was cool!!

 

Followed a very nice LY/LY with an ociari body kit, s-lites and yellow racing seats down arapahoe road, down parker road, and orchard road.

There is a LY/LY MINI with an ociari body kit and black rims with a polished lip at an exotic car brokership on arapahoe for sale (different than the MINI above). Its usually sitting out front with ferraris and lambos!

 

was on CO470 (toll road)south today and saw 2 minis, but I was too pre-occupied with the map to wave, sorry. was about 8 or 9 am. Im not from colorado either .. :(

 

Anathema- That is Paragon Motorsports. Anthony Figueroa (used to be head mechanic at Schomp) works there. He works on White Lightning.. did pulley, etc.. and trained Randy Webb

You can always go talk to him. He's super cool and might show you their green race Mini in the back... so sick!

 

I drive down (south) Nevada to I-25 and head south to work every day a little before 7 am. Most mornings I see a red MCS heading north on Nevada. I get a wave almost all the time but I'd like to know who is drving. If thats you say hi!!

PS: I have a Chile Red w/ white top (dirty most of the time) MCS.

 

I see a woman driving a dark silver MCS in my neighborhood all the time. Saw her today while I happened to have my garage queen MINI out for a little stroll to fill up the gas tank before the big storm hits later tonight. She waved and smiled back at me as we passed each other near the mailboxes

I am in Parker, and this was Bradbury Hills development.

 

I spotted a BRG/WHT MSC going north bound on Broadway, near Schomp's(if that counts) today at 11:00am he flashed his lights, I waved.

Unlike Dr. Watson I got no response from a Blue MC yesterday in the Tech center. I pulled up next to him and rolled my window down... he didn't even look my way. So I continued to pull up a little more so I was past him a bit (definately in his field of vision) and he didn't even care.

Owners like that make me sad...

 

I spotted a pure PW in Lafayette @ Baseline & 287 around 6pm Tuesday night...first time I've seen it around. I've seen quite a few around Lafayette in the past couple of weeks! Very cool!

 

in a little over 4 years of Motoring:

• Some people have their MINIs for show. Not me.
• Some people have their MINIs for sport. That's me.
• Some people have their MINIs for transportation. Not me.

Those in the latter group tend to wave less than those in the other groups. Not to difficult to accept now, just DIFFERENT.

We have the graphics package in for MITM2 / CRTC. Rick has ordered business cards (a proverbial boatload of em) so that all members can have some to TAG other MINIs with. At the next GTG (Detailers Paradise, March 31) he will have some for all. Further, we are sending some with Mark Ferguson to AMVIV and hopefully, Rene and ShellBell will take some also to AMVIV to TAG folks who may be able to attend our event.

About twenty minutes ago Northbound I-25 between County Line and Orchard.

I'm about to pull off County Line and onto I-25 when a DS/B MCS with black bonnet stripes and tint merges behind me. Once on the highway we both geared it up and played in traffic until I had to exit. Thanks for the fun before returning to my office whomever you were.

Oh, the car was practically plastered with Go Limo advertisements (I think that's what they were). Anyone know him?

 

i saw a dark green mini cooper s with black bonnet stripes @ Flat irons mall, i put a mini spotter card on it..just trying to find out who it was!
