What do you have to lose?

So, a little birdie informed me that quite a few of you are amazing photographers, which makes me wonder why there are so few of you that have entered our photography contest. We would love to see some photos from you guys, be it the latest drive or the Yalla Yalla event. It could be the next cover and you walk away with a FREE $25 gift card to B&H. Send your favorite image or images that you have taken and you may just win! Remember, the cut off date is December 15th, so get those entries coming. I look forward to seeing them.

Richard,

I have sold an occasional photo. Not something I do to put bread on the table.

I would submit, but your phrasing of your rules has me holding back, since it is so general.

Don,
I see and understand your concern in the rules. When we state professional photographers, we wanted to avoid the people that are photographers for a living and not just do it for a hobby. In your case, i would say you are not a professional as you are not doing it for your livelihood. We will look at the rules and ensure they are more clear for the next contest. I look forward to your submissions!

If I relied on my photos for a living - I'd be long dead.

I want to thank everyone that submitted. The winners will be announced on January 15th in the next issue of EuroBerge. If you submitted, you will be receiving a small email at the end of the week, so look forward to that. Again, great turnout for our first contest and I promise more and exciting opportunities to win great prizes in the future.
