So, a little birdie informed me that quite a few of you are amazing photographers, which makes me wonder why there are so few of you that have entered our photography contest. I have sold an occasional photo. Not something I do to put bread on the table.

I would submit, but your phrasing of your rules has me holding back, since it is so general.

I see and understand your concern in the rules. When we state professional photographers, we wanted to avoid the people that are photographers for a living and not just do it for a hobby. In your case, i would say you are not a professional as you are not doing it for your livelihood. We will look at the rules and ensure they are more clear for the next contest. I look forward to your submissions!
